The Principal Product Manager, Cloud & Edge Computing is a strategist, analyst, customer evangelist, respected leader of execution, and professional relationship builder who is focused on driving innovative and transformational Private Network solutions. Reporting to the Head of 5G Advance Network Services (5G ANS), in this role, you will be ultimately accountable, responsible, and have ownership of T-Mobile’s Cloud & Edge Computing product and services to offer innovative solutions and engage senior leadership across the entirety of industries in T-Mobile’s customer base.

As Principal Product Manager, Cloud & Edge Computing you will conduct market research; generate product requirements; determine specifications; define long-term strategy of the product; create the product road map; help drive and support technical delivery end to end; define scope for releases/product increments; partnering with T-Mobile’s Marketing, Sales and Technology teams as well as external partners.

You will also be T-Mobile for Business’s champion and leader for Cloud & Edge Computing where you will build and maintain strong high-level relationships with our current and potential customers. You will drive senior executive relationships through your extensive knowledge and industry solutions. This includes determining the most effective go-to-market and partnership collaboration strategies. 

Principal Product Manager, Private Networks is a “jack-of-all-trades” leveraging deep customer empathy, strategic thinking, commercial, analytical, and leadership prowess to successfully deliver delightful and differentiated products that drive growth.

Primary Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive innovative solutions in close coordination with T-Mobile for Business team plans/goals.
  • Identify and support the development of key relationships within T-Mobile’s customer base.
  • Maintain regular cadence with senior government/industry executives on key issues.
  • Create and deliver proactive messaging, use cases, and thought leadership with senior executives to push innovative solutions.
  • Understand technical considerations that are industry-specific, communicate internally and help guide the direction of our product offerings.
  • In coordination and collaboration with account teams, prepare and deliver business reviews to the senior management team.


  • Minimum 5-7 years experience working in a fast paced enterprise Product Development team.
  • In-depth subject matter expertise in Cloud & Edge Computing including knowledge of Hardware, Containerization, Orchestration, and Virtualization.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or Equivalent
  • Demonstrates complete mastery of business side skills (Communication, Customer research, product vision and feature definition).
  • Proven success in directing matrixed resources and delivering software, with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools, across multiple teams; Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools.
  • Mastery of requirements elicitation and writing skills, including writing concisely and clearly for different audiences.
  • Experience with successive elaboration and ability to develop Initiatives, Features and User Stories that the DevOps teams can ingest.
  • Lead team through change, motivate and inspire teams to do their best work, and develop their knowledge and ability to deliver on its mission.

  • Strong analytical skills with the demonstrated ability to identify/analyze/synthesize product use data and use the data to drive decisions.
  • Proven ability to communicate with Leadership effectively and efficiently, technical, and non-technical audiences while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including executives and non-technical leaders.
  • Analytical problem solver; applies multiple technical solutions to application operational problems
  • Collaborative, yet influential
  • Flexible, self-starter, and comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects; detail-oriented and organized

    Minimum Qualifications

    • At least 18 years of age
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law. The CDC currently defines "fully vaccinated" as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
