TechX Internships: Hands-on learning
An exciting opportunity for current technology students to get experience with a variety of T-Mobile technologies and teams.
The TechX Internship is a 9-month, part-time paid learning experience that begins in October for students currently enrolled in a full-time Undergraduate degree program. During the program, TechX Interns will acquire practical, relevant and hands-on experience on their team, be paired with a mentor, and participate in challenging projects alongside some of the best senior technologists in the industry. Eager explorers will also have the opportunity to rotate teams, giving them exposure to a wide variety of technologies across different organizations.
Current Intern roles include: Software Development, Engineering, Project Management, Product Management, Cybersecurity, and Data/Business Analysts opportunities.
What it takes
Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program majoring in Engineering or a related Technical field including: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Management Systems, Product Management, Project Management, Cybersecurity, and Information Technology
Able to work 15 to 25 hours per week during regular daytime business hours (schedule will be flexible to accommodate classes and coursework)
Authorization to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Explore the TechX tracks.
Explore a wide variety of technologies across T-Mobile’s organization by managing the overall program structure, organizational functions, and KPI measurement tools. Participate in challenging projects alongside some of the best senior technologists in the industry.
Support the entire lifecycle of T-Mobile’s products and services for key lines of business and drive product forecasting. Here you can conduct research and analysis of consumer needs by providing analysis of improvement opportunities.
Data & Business Analyst
Use your analytical and problem-solving skills to decipher multiple data sources in order to guide functions of T-Mobile’s processes. Explore innovative software systems to design, test various enhancements, and identify information portals to report conclusions.
Work side-by-side with your team members and those from other fields, giving you greater visibility throughout T‑Mobile. Take on a variety of different roles including dev test, app ops, and development.
Learn about network planning and performance and work with other partners to provide network solutions and analyze performance feasibility for new technologies. Work with the industry’s top engineers to ensure that our products are delivered successfully.
Use your knowledge of current trends and developments in the area of information security to work with teams across the enterprise to ensure compliance with T-Mobile’s information security standards, industry best practices, and various regulatory controls.
