Senior Manager, Content Design

Lead, influence, and set the vision for T-Mobile’s product experiences! As an exceptional storyteller and communicator in the Senior Manager of Content Design role on the Product, Experience Design & Innovation team, you will define and manage the end-to-end product content strategy and inspire and influence product design, product management, marketing, and other disciplines to lead with user-centric content— enabling teams to build great products that share a cohesive product vision and narrative, to address real user needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of content designers, providing feedback and coaching on career development and content creation and editing, to drive development of content and evolution of content management strategy across T-Mobile product experiences. 
  • Establish a Content Design, or similar, team within an established organization. 
  • Drive content guidelines and best practices, to build deep connections and trust with users by delivering a cohesive product narrative and content strategy across product experiences. 
  • Influence and lead style guides and design language to help establish clear language and tone.  
  • Identify and champion the most efficient content workflows possible, while seeking opportunities to improve existing content workflows.  
  • ·Organize existing content, create guidelines for future content, and ensure that all content aligns across channels and user touchpoints. 
  • Use human-centered design methods to design, craft, and test content solutions that address real customer challenges. 
  • Set clear objectives and KPIs for content quality, effectiveness, SEO, awareness, impressions and visits. 
  • Create tools, guides, and templates to empower the team to create their own great content and scale the discipline. 

  • Work Experience:
  • 4-7 years of experience in the development of content inventories, taxonomies, and strategies 
  • 2+ years of direct people management skills 
  • Experience collaborating with internal cross-functional partners to drive results 
  • Knowledge in technical software and knowledge of design and research process and strategy 
  • Previous experience in product, technology, or digital function highly preferred 
  • Experience leading content teams working with product or business teams 
  • Collaboration and cross-functional leadership 
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Psychology or equivalent work experience.

Base Pay Range: $133,100 - $240,100

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
