The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for supporting and producing data insights and reports by providing cross-departmental teams with analytical and forecasting support. It will be responsible for the effective collection and analysis of data related to network deployment costs, pricing comparisons, and business performance trends. The Analyst utilizes SQL, Python, and business intelligence tools to transform complex data into insights that support operational and strategic decision-making. It will also support continuous improvement and data quality efforts during system migrations, while contributing to a collaborative, customer-first culture focused on enabling business success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and validate data sets used for forecasting and reporting.
- Build and execute SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.
- Assist with model development for cost forecasting and trend analysis, under team guidance
- Conduct data quality checks and system reconciliation during migration projects.
- Partner with business and engineering teams to interpret findings and support decisions.
- Support the creation of dashboards and visualizations that communicate insights clearly
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and customer-focused innovation.
- Perform additional analysis and ad hoc projects as needed.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree Business, Statistics, Economics, Marketing or related field. (Required)
- Prefer 2+ years experience related to business intelligence.
- Experience in conducting and communicating data-driven analyses; proven experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis and report writing.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Technical
- Proficiency with SQL and Python for data analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with statistical or ML concepts for forecasting and trend analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong understanding of Excel for data manipulation and reporting
Professional
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with high attention to detail.
- Adaptable to change and comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environment
Communication
- Able to translate data into stories and business insight
Behavioral
- Demonstrates curiosity, ownership, and willingness to learn new technologies.

Frisco, TX Compensation Range: $77,300 - $104,500
Base Pay Range: $66,900 - $120,600Corporate Bonus Target: 10%The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
