Assistant Facility Security Officer

The Assistant Facility Security Officer supports compliance activity governed by the Federal Government for our T-Mobile Security Federal Operations (TSFO) group. Candidate must meet United States government security requirements in accordance with government contracts. 

Must be able to obtain US security clearance. US Citizenship (without dual citizenship) required. 

This is a hybrid position required to be working in-office at least 3 days a week.

Job Responsibilities:
• Provides support to the Facility Security Officer regarding all personnel and facility security clearances. Performs the full range of security functions as required by the NISPOM rule and Intelligence Community Directives
• Compiles data and analyzes results of audits, inspections, daily logs, and incident reports to assess security vulnerabilities, measure program effectiveness, and identify the need for additional resources
• Recommends appropriate and required security measures, techniques and methods to assure and improve the protection of personnel, activities and TSFO facility 
• Assist with the development of training, education programs, and communications on security policies and topics to ensure staff is prepared for potential security issues, , evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events
• Investigate and submit Security Violations and Incident Reports as needed by applicable government directives
• Train and orient employees in security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government and customer regulations
• Prepare facility for required annual audits/vulnerability assessments conducted by multiple government agencies
• Mitigates Foreign Ownership Control and Influence (FOCI) by utilizing stringent established policies and procedures and providing input for improvement
• Performs operations in government applications and databases such as SWFT, eAPP, NISS, NBIS & DISS 
• Develops physical security specifications for Restricted Areas and Sensitive Compartment Information Facilities 
• Manages projects pertaining to facility construction and installation of security systems
• Implements and monitors Department of Defense FOCI plans such as the Special Security Agreement, Facility Location Plan, Electronic Communication Plan, Technology Control Plan, Visitation Plan and Affiliated Operations Plan
• Maintain relationships with multiple government Agency Representative(s) and DCSA Representative(s)
• Serve as Alternate COMSEC Manager
• Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by TSFO management as needed

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in National Security, Criminal Justice, Security Administration, Cyber Security, or related area of study. Relevant experience accepted
• 4 years of experience with a major law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate security organization
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• US Citizenship (without dual citizenship) required
• Must be able to obtain US security clearance; Active clearance preferred
 

T-Mobile requires U.S. citizenship for certain roles within the organization. This role requires U.S. citizenship. Individuals hired into this role will be required to submit documentation proving U.S. citizenship within the first 7 days of hire - failure to do so will result in termination. 

Base Pay Range: $68,700 - $123,900

Corporate Bonus Target: 10%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
