Job OverviewAs an Associate Software Engineer specializing in the Salesforce Platform, you will contribute to the design, development, and integration of scalable, high-impact solutions. Working alongside experienced engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, you’ll gain hands-on experience with enterprise architecture, API integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce platform capabilities. This is a growth-focused role designed to provide mentorship, exposure to enterprise systems, and a clear career path within T-Mobile’s technology organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Technical Engineering Services:
Contribute to the design and development of custom Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC, and Aura.
Support the implementation and maintenance of integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST, SOAP, and Streaming APIs.
Apply modern engineering practices (CI/CD, Agile) to ensure quality, maintainability, and scalability.
Participate in testing, code reviews, and troubleshooting alongside senior engineers.
Build foundational understanding of event-driven architecture and enterprise-grade integrations.
Technical Leadership:
Collaborate with technical teams, product managers, and business analysts to align solutions with business needs.
Provide demos, technical walkthroughs, and documentation to promote shared understanding.
Learn and apply emerging technologies under the guidance of senior engineers.
Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to team learning culture.
Technical Writing:
Document new code, system designs, and integration approaches for cross-team use.
Produce clear, concise technical documentation to support collaboration and efficient handoffs.
Contribute to presentations and reports that highlight system designs and solution impact.
Technology Strategy:
Stay current with Salesforce platform enhancements, APIs, and ecosystem updates.
Explore emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on Salesforce roadmap.
Share insights with team members and find opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
Engage in continuous learning to grow technical breadth and depth.
Innovation:
Contribute fresh ideas and perspectives for improving processes, services, and system performance.
Highlight areas for optimization and help refine workflows.
Leverage independent study and mentorship to propose innovative approaches to enterprise challenges.
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Engineering (Required)
Less than 2 years Technical engineering experience. (Required)
Work Experience:
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and full-stack development (Required)
Experience with at least one Object-Oriented Programming language such as Java or C++ (Required)
Proficiency working with SQL and dynamic queries (Required)
Experience with version control and CI/CD tools such as Git, GitLab, or Jenkins (Required)
Exposure to Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, Aura) or enterprise APIs (REST/SOAP) (Preferred)
Knowledge of event-driven systems and scalable architecture patterns (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong communicator, able to bridge technical and business discussions (Required)

Base Pay Range: $66,900 - $120,600Corporate Bonus Target: 10%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
