*This position is required to be onsite at our Sparks, NV Distribution Center 3-5 days per week. It does not have remote capability.*

Job Overview
The Associate Engineer in Supply Chain Process at T-Mobile is crucial for enhancing the efficiency, quality, and safety of our business operations. This role involves supporting the design, implementation, and optimization of business processes, as well as conducting tests and monitoring performance throughout production. By analyzing current processes and identifying improvement opportunities, the Associate Engineer helps reduce wastefulness and redundancy in production processes. They implement standards, procedures, and work instructions for manufacturing processes, contributing to reduced production times and improved material flow in supply chain logistics. Through their efforts, they play a critical role in advancing T-Mobile's operational effectiveness and supply chain efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collects and analyzes data on logistics operations and processes related to the movement, storage, and distribution of goods to identify trends, bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Supports the design, implementation, and optimization of business processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Implements standards, procedures, and work instructions for manufacturing processes.
  • Contributes to finding cost savings and improved material flow in supply chain logistics.


Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree Supply Chain Management, Business Operations, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field. (Required)
  • Master's/Advanced Degree Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or related field (Preferred)
  • 0-2 years Experience in designing and implementing supply chain processes to enhance operational efficiency. (Preferred)
  • 0-2 years Experience in conducting process analysis and implementing improvements in a manufacturing, logistics or business environment. (Preferred)
  • 0-2 years Experience with SQL and data analysis for identifying trends and supporting decision-making. (Preferred)


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Process Improvement - Ability to analyze and enhance business processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness. (Required)
  • Data Analysis - Proficiency in analyzing data to identify trends, make predictions, and support business decisions. (Required)
  • Microsoft Excel - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization. (Required)
  • Problem Solving - Strong problem-solving skills to optimally address and resolve issues during process implementation. (Required)
  • Attention To Detail - High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all aspects of production and process management. (Required)
  • Project Management - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to predefined specifications. (Preferred)
  • Supply Chain Management - Understanding of supply chain logistics and the ability to optimize processes for improved material flow. (Preferred)
  • Collaboration - Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a multifaceted environment. (Required)
  • Strategic Thinking - Capability to think strategically and integrate strategic business goals into everyday work. (Preferred)
  • Technical Writing - Ability to create clear and effective technical documentation, such as work instructions and standard operating procedures. (Preferred)


Licenses and Certifications:

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification by APICS that demonstrates knowledge and organizational skills for developing more streamlined operations. (Preferred)
  • Six Sigma: Certification that indicates expertise in the methodologies and tools of Six Sigma for process improvement. (Preferred)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Internationally recognized certification that demonstrates understanding and competency in project management. (Preferred)

Sparks, NV Compensation Range: $68,800 - $93,100

Base Pay Range: $60,700 - $109,600

Corporate Bonus Target: 10%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
