The Business Development Manager, Data & AI will drive monetization strategy and new growth initiatives leveraging T-Mobile’s data assets, AI capabilities, and 5G infrastructure. This role combines strategic business acumen, technical fluency, and commercial savvy to identify, structure, and execute high-impact partnerships and new lines of business. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, customer-centric, and able to bridge the gap between emerging technology and real-world enterprise solutions. They will work closely with product, legal, engineering, finance, and external partners to scale T-Mobile’s AI and data commercialization ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and launch new business opportunities focused on commercializing data, AI/ML, and edge analytics capabilities across industries such as retail, transportation, healthcare, and smart cities.
- Source and cultivate external partnerships with hyperscalers, analytics platforms, AI startups, and industry solution providers to accelerate innovation and go-to-market motions.
- Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate opportunities and develop market entry, monetization, and partnership strategies for AI- and data-driven solutions.
- Structure, negotiate, and execute strategic partnership agreements, including business terms, licensing models, and technical integration roadmaps.
- Serve as the voice of the partner and market in internal discussions, collaborating with product and engineering to influence roadmap priorities and platform capabilities.
- Analyze trends in AI, data platforms, edge compute, and enterprise technology ecosystems; prepare executive-ready presentations, business cases, and competitive analyses.
- Represent T-Mobile at industry conferences, innovation forums, and in partner discussions to build brand and thought leadership in data and AI ecosystems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science or related field (Required). MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 3-5 years Experience developing GTM or commercialization strategies for B2B or enterprise data/AI solutions in Business development, strategy, or partnership roles in tech, telecom, cloud, AI/ML, or data-driven organizations
- Familiarity with SaaS, APIs, data marketplaces, and cloud-native architectures
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Business Strategy & Deal-Making: Proven ability to analyze market opportunities, create compelling business cases, and structure complex deals.
- Technology Fluency: Solid understanding of AI/ML models, data governance, privacy, edge computing, and cloud platforms.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communicator who can influence senior executives, partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Presentation & Communication: Ability to develop compelling narratives and communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Negotiation & Financial Modeling: Experience structuring commercial terms and modeling ROI, revenue share, or licensing scenarios.

Base Pay Range: $90,100 - $162,600Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
