Business Intelligence Manager - Metro CRM

*** This position will be located in Overland Park, KS. This is not a remote role, we are a hybrid environment requiring at least 3 days a week in office.***

Join our CRM & NBA Reporting & Measurement team as a Senior Business Intelligence Manager. In this individual contributor role, you will transform complex data into actionable insights and build sophisticated dashboards that drive our CRM and next-best-action strategies. Your strong SQL skills and expertise with Power BI will be pivotal in integrating, visualizing, and delivering data from multiple sources to senior leadership. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements and optimize our customer engagement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Dashboard & Reporting Development (50%):
    Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reporting interfaces using Power BI. Ensure these tools integrate CRM and NBA performance metrics to provide clear, actionable insights.

  • Data Analysis & Insight Generation (20%):
    Extract and analyze data from diverse sources (CRM systems, call centers, market research, etc.) to support strategic decision-making and enhance customer engagement.

  • Insight Implementation & Strategy Support (15%):
    Translate complex data sets into actionable insights and collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams on initiatives such as A/B testing and process improvements.

  • Communication & Presentation (10%):
    Present findings and strategic recommendations through compelling data visualizations and concise reports to senior management and key stakeholders.

  • Special Projects & Continuous Improvement (5%):
    Support additional projects and process enhancements as assigned, ensuring our reporting systems evolve to meet emerging business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Experience: 4-7 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics, with a proven track record using BI tools—specifically Power BI—for data visualization and dashboard development.
    Demonstrated expertise in advanced analytics, including SQL/ETL for complex datasets, competitive analysis, and quantitative research, ideally within a CRM or customer engagement environment.

  • Technical Skills:

    • SQL: Intermediate to advanced proficiency for crafting and optimizing complex queries.

    • Power BI: Extensive hands-on experience designing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reporting solutions.

  • Key Competencies:
    Exceptional analytical and critical reasoning skills with keen attention to detail.
    Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across functions.
    Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities concurrently.
    Industry knowledge in telecom or related sectors is a plus.

Work Environment:

Base Pay Range: $89,600 - $161,600

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
