*This position will work on a hybrid schedule of at least 3 days in office. Position is open to our Frisco, TX, Overland Park, KS, or Bellevue, WA office.*

Job Overview
The Business Intelligence Manager on the National Siting Contracts team, will be at the forefront of driving data-driven decisions and strategic portfolio management. This role will involve creating and maintaining PowerBI dashboards, crafting impactful PowerPoint presentations, and delivering business insights in innovative and engaging ways. The Business Intelligence Manager will develop customer-centric solutions fueled by data analysis, business acumen, creativity, and effective communication. Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, negotiators, and senior leadership to solve unique data needs and drive improvements and efficiencies. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and adaptability to evolving data capture and presentation methods. The ability to understand the basis for data requests and analysis, including contractual needs, is crucial. This is an individual contributor role that will make a significant impact.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the analytic needs of the business by using data from various sources (e.g. Databricks, Lakehouse, & SQL Databases).
  • Guide data strategy across multiple procurement domains (e.g. Network Procurement, Property Management, etc.).
  • Build holistic dashboards from different data sources for presentation to senior management.
  • Own the process of driving core insights from available data and build strategies to improve the customer experience, performance and impact. Early involvement in enterprise projects to define reporting needs & incorporating those needs into the system design.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations through compelling data visualizations and concise reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Drive self-service data solutions using evolving best practices.
  • Support additional projects and process improvements as assigned, ensuring our reporting systems evolve to meet emerging business needs.
  • Compiling and managing data for T-Mobile cell tower leasing data to support national contract administration.
  • Driving core insights from available data and crafting strategies to improve customer experience and performance.
  • Creation, maintenance and updates to PowerBI reports.
  • Implementing changes and enhancements to PowerBI dashboards, such as adding new categories, analytics, and improvements.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Statistics or similar field (Required)
  • 4-7 years Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, etc.). (Required)
  • 4-7 years Experience in reporting & analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau; PowerBI) (Required)
  • 4-7 years Experience in advanced analytics, which include SQL/ETL of complex datasets, Alteryx, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis & research. (Required)


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create formulas to calculate cost/benefits and financial impacts.
  • SQL Intermediate technical skills (DataViz; SQL; automation; report/metric design; algorithms/modeling) (Required)
  • Intermediate analytical skills including problem solving and critical reasoning (Required)
  • The ability to think critically, understand/solve problems, and find creative solutions.
  • Functional knowledge of Telecom; Network Technology; Procurement (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $89,600 - $161,600

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
