Job Overview!

T-Mobile for Business is seeking a dedicated Sales Coach to lead, mentor, and develop a team of ~10 Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) focused on SMB (Small and Medium Business) prospecting through cold outbound strategies.

This team plays a critical role in supporting our field sales team by building and maintaining a high-quality sales pipeline.

Your expertise in outbound sales, coaching techniques, and metrics-driven performance will be essential to driving the team’s success in generating valuable leads and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and Develop Sales Representatives: Provide hands-on coaching, guidance, and feedback to improve prospecting, cold outreach, and lead qualification skills.
  • Support Field Sales Team: Ensure SDRs generate and hand off high-quality leads and opportunities to the field sales team, enabling them to build a robust pipeline and close more deals.
  • Optimize Performance: Monitor individual and team metrics (e.g., call volume, conversion rates, appointments set, opportunities created), identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans.
  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Work closely with leadership to align the team’s activities with T-Mobile for Business’s strategic objectives and market opportunities.
  • Training and Enablement: Design and deliver ongoing training sessions focused on SMB sales techniques, product knowledge, and effective objection handling.
  • Drive Accountability: Set clear expectations, track performance, and conduct regular one-on-one meetings and team check-ins to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with field sales managers, marketing, and operations to refine outbound strategies, improve messaging, and share best practices.
  • Motivate and Inspire: Foster a positive and results-oriented team culture by celebrating wins, addressing challenges, and driving engagement.

Education:

  High School Diploma/GED (Required)

  Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: 2-4 years in a leadership, sales coaching, sales, or similar role with a strong focus on outbound prospecting and cold calling.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with SMB sales and an understanding of the telecom or technology industries is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to inspire and influence others.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Proficiency in analyzing sales metrics and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to drive decisions and improvements.
  • Leadership: A track record of building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a willingness to experiment and iterate on strategies.

Total Target Cash Pay Range: $68,700 - $123,900, inclusive of target incentives

Base Pay Range: $48,090 - $86,730

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in this role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
