If your answer is “yes,” you should join T-Mobile’s All-Star Legal Team!The Contracts Negotiation Manager will manage (in conjunction with key internal partners) the negotiation, redlining and drafting, as well as facilitating the execution of, standard and non-standard Federal Government contracts, amendments and renewals for the T-Mobile for Government organization. Supports Department of Defense and Federal Civilian segments to ensure compliance with business requirements as well as corporate policy. Represents the organization as a customer-facing contact for contract negotiations and generally performs in a program/project leadership role. Interacts with company management and senior customer personnel on matters requiring coordination across organizational lines. Reviews RFx requests and participates in the preparation of proposals and quotes with a significant impact to the company. Negotiates favorable terms and conditions on behalf of the company. Provides updates to management and sales on contracts and negotiations and advises sales of contractual eligibility, rights and obligations in concert with senior negotiators and attorneys. Assists in contract reviews as needed for individual customers and company-wide initiatives. This position will report to a Senior Manager, Contract Negotiations within the Legal Department.
What you’ll do in your role.
- Support the negotiation and administration of Federal contracts from inception through close-out.
- Review, redline and negotiate non-standard contracts including master services agreements, subcontracts, purchase orders, statements of work (SOW), non-disclosure agreements (NDA), and teaming agreements.
- Engage subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to review contract requirements.
- Assist with the review of requests for proposal (RFPs) and participate in the preparation of proposal responses.
- Manage contractual issues of diverse scope which require a comprehensive understanding of cradle to grave Federal contract administration.
- Administer new contract awards and independently review modifications and amendments for accuracy and/or needed changes in alignment with contract requirements and company policies.
- Maintain accurate contract records within the company’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.
- Represent the organization as a customer-facing contact for contract negotiations.
- Serve as corporate point of contact for Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS).
- Enter data into procurement systems (SAM.gov, eMod, etc.) as necessary for contract modification and proposal submission.
The experience you’ll bring.
- Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of combination of Education and related work experience.
- 2-4 years of related work experience in Federal contracts role.
- Federal government agency or government contractor experience.
- NCMA Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) or Federal agency equivalent training or certification preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Proficiency administering a variety of Federal contract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), and GSA schedules.
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments with some direction.
- Strong oral communication and professional writing skills.
- Telecommunications or Technology industry experience preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with the following applications is strongly preferred:
- Adobe Acrobat; CPARS; GSA eOffer/eMod; Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; SharePoint & Word; Salesforce.
- Familiarity with the following applications preferred but not required: Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE); Invoice Processing Platform (IPP); Wide Area Workflow (WAWF); ServiceNow; SAP Ariba.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain at least a Secret-level security clearance is preferred but not required.
- This is a hybrid work role; minimum of 3 days per week in-office required in an open workspace environment.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
