T-Mobile has an exciting opportunity for a bright, pragmatic, “business first” transactional attorney to join our team and help get stuff done. While primarily focused on negotiating buy-side commercial agreements in support of our AI and product groups, the successful candidate will be flexible, think bigger, and always be willing to step outside their “lane” to deliver excellent outcomes for our customers, colleagues, and company. What you’ll do in your role.

  • Negotiate, draft, and advise on complex commercial agreements supporting various AI and product teams
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients to foster trust, collaboration, and alignment between business objectives and legal considerations
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients’ operations, goals and challenges
  • Refine templates and playbooks
  • Develop and deliver presentations and training sessions for clients and colleagues 
  • Collaborate with cross-team legal colleagues and other internal stakeholders to align project outcomes with the company’s priorities
  • Drive departmental initiatives, including the development and redesign of legal support processes to increase efficiencies and better align to the changing needs of the business

The experience you’ll bring.

  • A U.S. law degree, with admission to at least one state bar in good standing  
  • 2-4 years of experience as a technology transactions attorney in a sophisticated environment
  • Strong business and legal acumen with the ability to identify risks, think strategically, and develop innovative solutions in ambiguous situations
  • Client-focused mindset, comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong technical acumen and experience negotiating AI and product deals
  • Corporate experience and familiarity with complex consumer and B2B business operations
  • Aptitude for helping growing organizations build scalable processes
  • Foundational knowledge of common intellectual property issues in product development

    Base Pay Range: $123,200 - $222,200

    Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

    The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

    At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
