Un-carrier® Responsibilities
- Accountable for developing and executing a compelling product vision and roadmap for foundational data, data management platforms, and reporting and analytics capabilities aligned to business goals.
- Owns the business case, prioritization, ROI for Finance, Procurement, and Supply chain data that is centrally governed and published for enterprise consumption.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with application technology, data engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to identify and solve critical data quality and scale challenges.
- Implement robust data governance frameworks and quality processes to ensure data integrity.
- Lead cross-functional teams to create scalable data solutions that improve accessibility, reliability, efficiency, safety, and usability. Initiate and drive continuous improvement programs.
- Drive adoption of data products across the organization through effective communication and change management.
- Establish and monitor clear metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of foundational data products. Analyze product performance data for trends, providing regular reports, dashboards, and briefings on progress towards goals, key findings, and identified areas of opportunity or risk.
- Perform in-depth analysis of data architectures and technologies, assessing and communicating business impacts, and creating short- and long-term resolution plans.
- Define expectations, success measures, and rollout strategies for new data initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Mentor and develop product managers, providing guidance on best practices and career growth.
The Experience You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of professional product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on data management, data platforms, infrastructure, or related products.
- Strong understanding of data architectures, technologies, and modern data stack components, including experience with data governance and quality initiatives.
- Technical working proficiency across the data stack ecosystem, including data warehousing, orchestrators, ETL/ELT, data modeling, monitoring, and cataloging. In-depth experience with SQL and/or Python preferred.
- Business case management with experience aligning data work to business objectives.
- Experience with data governance, data quality, master data management, or data cataloging initiatives.
- Experience with application of AI to solve data chanllenges
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical products that solve enterprise-scale data challenges.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience leading and mentoring multiple product teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Commitment to continued professional growth evidenced through certifications or whitepaper authoring is preferred.
- Desire for a high level of responsibility and ownership and ability to work with minimal supervision

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
