Director, Marketing - Distribution Strategy

The Director – Distribution Strategy owns the evolution of the channels of distribution within T-Mobile for Business and manages the roadmap to drive higher sales volumes, at a lower cost of acquisition, through routes to market that are aligned with customer behavioral buying trends. They will do this by deeply understanding the various routes to market and through data-driven analysis, make recommendations to the business on where best to change, why, and how . The position will be responsible for creating and owning the quarterly and long-range targets for non-direct channels of distribution, like Indirect Partner Channel. They will also be responsible for alignment of T-Mobile for Business distribution strategy across the cross-functional business, ensuring that the portfolio of channels is optimized based on the needs of the customer and growth ambitions of our business.Job Responsibilities:
Accountable for Distribution Strategy for TFB; drives business targets through financial analysis and strategic initiatives to deliver growth and profitability, including market share across all segments.
Conduct deep strategy work to understand cost and contribution of routes to market
Make recommendations on where/how/why to optimize or build new routes to market
Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing (Required)
Masters Degree or MBA in Marketing, Management preferred.
Work Experience:
More than 10 years of working experience (preferably within Telecom and/or Technology)
More than 4 years of experience operating within a Partner Channel ecosystem (ie. SI, VAR, CSP, TSD, etc)
Develop and execute strategies/programs that drive growth.
Proven track record of balancing multiple complex cross functional projects and processes with multiple stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Leadership : Demonstrated ability to communicate at an executive level, effectively influence at an enterprise level, and successfully sponsor/lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with SVP+ level visibility and accountability
Extensive B2B Experience : Comprehensive experience and skill set to effectively drive business growth, foster strong client relationships, and lead teams toward achieving strategic business objectives in the B2B sector preferred.
Demonstrate innovation and problem-solving.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
