If so, our team is searching for an impactful Field Technician to join us in taking the next big leap forward!

You should possess a balance of wireless industry exposure, coupled with the ability to be independent and cover a wide area of sites in our market. You will be a generalist, encompassing aspects of technical support, project management, and operational support while being a responsible teammate.

Responsibilities

  • Technical support: Provides technical support within the network and occasionally outside immediate team. Provides technical support in network performance initiatives, outage triage and resolution, and works to identify day-to-day improvement opportunities.
  • Project management: Manages smaller projects or portions of key projects or initiatives, providing accurate status and progress updates as requested by stakeholders.
  • Operations: Identifies and shares potential process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities and recommends them to Senior Technicians or management for consideration. Assists in creation of job aids, scopes of work, method or statement of procedure, and conducive tools working closely with their immediate peer group.
  • Continuous learning: Enrolls in and completes training requirements to stay current on existing and new systems and product in order to grow skills and to expand proficiency in alignment with organizational values and requirements.

Qualifications

  • 2+ yrs wireless experience, with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated; exhibits initiative in achieving company goals and objectives.
  • Basic leadership skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility with ever-changing environments and priorities.
  • Solves problems using creativity and innovation.
  • Basic operational knowledge and theory of all interconnecting circuits to include but not limited to RF transmitters, antenna systems, AAV, fiber, microwave radio and AC-DC power systems, and AI.
  • Flexible hours are a must. Day and night work are part of the job, as well as being part of an on-call rotation for the market, which includes weekends and holidays.
  • Applicant is to meet the minimum DOT medical standards under 49 CFR Part 391

Base Pay Range: $27.16 - $48.99

Corporate Bonus Target: 10%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
