*** This position will be located in Bellevue, WA; Overland Park, KS; or Frisco, TX. This is not a remote role - this is a hybrid scheduling requiring 3 days a week in office.

The Group Project Manager leads a portfolio of related, high-visibility programs and drives enterprise alignment to deliver

targeted business outcomes and successful launches. This role operates across Product, IT, business, and enterprise

teams to set program direction, manage dependencies, and resolve escalations that impact delivery. They establish

governance, success metrics, and execution rhythm across multiple workstreams and program managers (often through

dotted-line leadership). Success is measured by outcome delivery, launch readiness, risk mitigation, and cross-functional

execution discipline. The role enables scalable delivery of strategic initiatives by translating enterprise priorities into

coordinated program execution.

Job Responsibilities:

Portfolio & Program-of-Programs Leadership

• Owns delivery of a portfolio of related programs aligned to enterprise priorities and defined business outcomes.

• Establishes integrated plans, milestones, and success metrics across programs to ensure coordinated execution and on-time launch.

• Manages interdependencies and sequencing across Product, IT, business, and enterprise teams.

Cross-Functional Alignment & Launch Execution

• Drives alignment across Product, Technology, Business, and Enterprise stakeholders to ensure programs are execution-ready and launch outcomes are met.

• Serves as the primary integrator across teams, resolving gaps, conflicts, and misalignment that impact delivery or launch readiness.

• Ensures operational, technical, and business readiness criteria are met prior to launch.

Risk, Issue, and Escalation Management

• Proactively identifies cross-program risks, issues, and constraints; drives mitigation strategies across teams.

• Acts as the escalation owner for portfolio-level delivery risks and launch blockers.

• Synthesizes complex inputs into clear options and recommendations for senior leadership decision-making.

Indirect Leadership & Execution Standards

• Provides dotted-line leadership and coaching to program managers to ensure consistent execution, reporting, and risk discipline.

• Establishes and reinforces program operating standards, governance routines, and delivery expectations across the portfolio.

• Enables scale by improving execution quality without direct people management.

Portfolio Health, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Owns portfolio-level reporting, translating delivery status into outcome- and launch-focused insights for leadership.

• Monitors progress against success metrics and adjusts execution approach as priorities evolve.

• Identifies systemic delivery issues and drives continuous improvement across programs.

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 7 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 5 years of related experience (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management (Required)
  • 7-10 years Industry experience as a program or product manager within a technology environment, with a progressive record of successful delivery of complex solutions, systems, or services. (Required)
  • 4-7 years Experience in Agile Program Management setting in any capacity: SM, PO, etc (Required)
  • Experience working on projects in a wireless industry. (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $103,100 - $186,000

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
