We’re expanding our Fiber Operations and need a data-savvy leader who’s ready to turn insights into action.As the Manager, Operational Insights, you’ll lead a team of analysts dedicated to driving continuous improvement across our fiber business. You’ll own the addressable database, ensure data quality, and deliver the insights that fuel smarter decisions. From managing MDU and commercial processes to building operational forecasts, your work will shape how T-Mobile delivers next-level connectivity.

This is a hybrid work environment with three days in the office.
What You’ll Do
- Turn data into strategy – Develop analysis plans, mine large data sets, and deliver insights that help leaders make smarter, faster decisions.
- Own data quality – Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly QC checks, oversee data cleansing, and fix errors before they impact operations.
- Manage what matters – Forecast, track, and manage all fiber addresses with accuracy and accountability.
- Support business growth – Provide reporting and operational insights for MDU and commercial agreements that expand our fiber footprint.
- Lead with impact – Manage and mentor a team of analysts, empowering them to deliver high-quality analysis and operational support.
- Communicate with clarity – Present complex findings in ways that resonate with executives and cross-functional partners.
- Push for better – Champion process improvements that make our operations faster, smarter, and more effective.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 7–10 years in analyst or operational insights roles, with leadership experience preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, or computer-related field (math, statistics, operations research, computer science, etc.).
- Technical skills: Strong SQL and relational database knowledge (Teradata, MS SQL Server), plus expertise with Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Problem-solving mindset: Ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable recommendations.
- Collaboration & communication: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and presenting to executives.
- Leadership: Proven ability to guide and develop high-performing teams.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
