The Digital Commerce domain is responsible for the APIs that drive our shopping experiences from browse to checkout. We maintain and develop new capabilities for T-Mobile’s Digital Commerce Platform. As a Manager for Digital Commerce, you will recruit, hire, mentor and lead a talented team of software, product and delivery professionals that are building new commerce capabilities that are strategic to our experience customers and the business.

Responsibilities
- Constantly improves the development processes, tools and methodologies used in the development group
- Works with multiple stakeholders to understand project and business priorities and schedule work with development staff based on those priorities
- Evaluates work effort status and resource utilization and implements changes to improve the team’s effectiveness
- Presents information on projects, initiatives or other subjects to peers, teams and upper management
- Provides ongoing reconciliation between long-term goals and short-term actions
- Effectively manages team of FTE and NTW Engineers to achieve results by providing appropriate direction, timely developmental feedback and coaching, and conducting performance reviews and conversations
- Interviews and hires qualified team members, striving to improve T-Mobile bench strength and augmenting teams with contract staff when required
- Supports team in creating training and career development plans and ensures assignments with increasing levels of responsibility are given to staff
- Oversee technical relationships with multiple assigned vendors, including driving features and function requests for inclusion in future product releases
- Communicates, influences, and sells ideas at all levels to drive high quality products and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant product management, product owner, technology delivery or business analyst experience in agile software product development environment
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
- Technical experience with development/delivery of large-scale distributed e-commerce systems using REST APIs and AWS cloud
- Leadership experience (as IC or manager) in a matrix (collaborative) model where emotional intelligence, influence and consensus-building matter more than command-and-control
- Management experience including people and vendor management, budget/financials and business administration
- Operational and service reliability engineering (SRE) experience (as IC or manager) with large scale tier 1/0 (zero downtime) systems
- Entrepreneurial and innovative. Passionate about technology, building great products and ensuring customer success
- Large scale delivery experience. Ability to work cross-functionally, building and maintaining trust with internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver the team’s commitments
Minimum Qualifications :
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or GED
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
