Job Overview
The T-Mobile Advertising Solutions Retail Media Network (RMN) Team is transforming how brands connect with customers in-store - and the Principal Implementation Consultant, Retail Media Networks plays a critical role in bringing that vision to life. This role leads complex, large-scale in-store media network deployments with third-party U.S. retailers, ensuring successful delivery of our full-stack RMN offering from discovery through network launch. The Consultant acts as the primary driver of deployment across legal, discovery, planning, installation, enablement, and operational transition. Working within a structured implementation framework, the Consultant adapts plans to meet unique retailer constraints and leads the orchestration of T-Mobile's cross-functional delivery teams. The role requires strong communication and consulting skills with both technical and business audiences, and frequent collaboration with retailer stakeholders across ad sales, store operations, merchandising, and marketing, acting as the senior-most implementation lead on assigned retailer programs, guiding internal teams and external partners through ambiguity, escalation, and critical decision points.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and adapt structured implementation processes for 3rd-party in-store RMN deployments, ensuring detailed planning, readiness, and alignment across T-Mobile legal, technical, merchandising, marketing, measurement, and operations teams.
  • Facilitate discovery and consulting sessions with retailer stakeholders to identify scope, timeline, success criteria, and site-specific implementation nuances.
  • Manage project delivery across pre-launch planning, legal contracting, deployment oversight, technology configuration, general contractor oversight, and campaign readiness, serving as the central point of accountability.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across internal teams (e.g., engineering, ads, care, supply chain, creative, network ops, marketing), customer-side teams (e.g., legal, retail technology, creative, merchandising, store ops, measurement, marketing, RMN, senior leadership, finance, ad ops, construction, strategic planning, logistics) and external vendor partners (e.g., General Contractors, OEMs, creative agencies).
  • Provide proactive communications to internal and external executive stakeholders through structured updates, risk reporting, and resolution planning.
  • Serve as a thought leader to internal teams by surfacing implementation learnings that influence product, process, and strategic roadmap decisions, and contributing to continuous improvement of the RMN implementation playbook based on lessons learned from each retailer rollout. 10%


Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (Preferred)
  • 7-10 years - Implementation: 5+ years leading large-scale enterprise or retail-facing implementations.
  • 7-10 years - Project Delivery: Experience with project delivery in advertising, retail technology, or network deployment preferred.
  • 7-10 years - Project Scope: Experience managing $5M–$40M projects with Fortune 500 clients.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Project Leadership: Excellent project leadership and cross-functional coordination (Required)
  • Digital Media Network Expertise: Working knowledge of hardware, software, and connectivity aspects of digital media networks (Required)
  • Communication: Strong communication and executive presence (Required)
  • Manage Ambiguity: Ability to manage scope ambiguity, timeline variability, and operational complexity. (Required)


Licenses and Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) (Preferred)

  • At least 18 years of age

Base Pay Range: $130,900 - $236,100

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
