Principal Manager- Strategy Manager, Accessories

The Strategy Manager drives strategic planning and vertical leadership across the Accessories portfolio, with a focus on aligning enterprise objectives, identifying growth opportunities, and shaping initiatives that fuel business performance. This role serves as a thought partner to Product, GTM, and cross-functional teams, translating market and customer insights into actionable strategies that enable alignment, innovation, and sustained growth.

Operating as a vertical owner (e.g., Postpaid, Metro), the Strategy Manager plays a critical role in identifying whitespace, aligning priorities, and leading the strategic initiative pipeline for their line of business or channel. Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking, communication skills, and the ability to bridge long-term vision with short-term executional needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead vertical-specific strategic planning efforts (e.g., Dealer/Franchise for Metro; Enterprise and LOBs for Postpaid) aligned to enterprise objectives and accessories growth goals.
  • Maintain awareness of enterprise and channel-level strategies to identify opportunities for Accessories to participate and contribute.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and shape new initiatives across products, categories, and sales channels.
  • Keep a pulse on customer and market trends; leverage insights to inform strategy and prioritize innovation.
  • Partner with Product and GTM teams to ensure initiative execution is aligned with strategic intent and business goals.
  • Manage initiative performance reviews and maintain an initiative pipeline to drive continuous strategic focus.
  • Contribute to messaging frameworks, value propositions, and strategic campaign inputs in collaboration with marketing partners.
  • Represent Accessories in enterprise-level planning forums and ensure vertical strategies are reflected in broader cross-functional roadmaps.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years Relevant Product Management experience in consumer electronics, mobile phone and/or accessories product management / development environment.
  • Demonstrates complete mastery of business side skills (communication, customer research, product vision, product definition), as well as product development and commercialization skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.

Base Pay Range: $133,800 - $241,400

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
