Production Coordinator

*** This role must be located in Bellevue, WA or Overland Park, KS. This is not a remote role, this is a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days a week in office.

At T-Mobile, we’re expanding our in-house Content Studio that can flex for media production and consumption today. We’re engineering the future of creative advertising in a digital environment and have built an entire content studio to help us do it. That’s where you come in.
POSITION SUMMARY
You have a basic knowledge of creative and logistical aspects of content production. You will work directly with T|Studios’ leadership team, marketing leaders, exec comms teams, and straddle the creative and production groups. On set, this role also requires the ability to work closely with the company's executive leaders. You’ll work closely with the working team to define and develop the production workflow. You will build and maintain vendor and contractor databases, handle finance and legal paperwork wrap-up, support with asset sourcing, and book studio facilities requests. You will identify additional efficiencies within the production and project wrap procedures, helping the entire studio run seamlessly. You keep your cool with tight deadlines and quick turnarounds.
This candidate should have a strong background in production and production equipment, and experience working with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external). The Production Coordinator for our team will have a lot of room to grow, flexing between production, post-production, and content management.

As a Production Coordinator, YOU:

  • Have the ability to support the video production process from beginning to end (pre-production, production, post-production)
  • Have process and people management skills.
  • Are organized and can handle the basics of budgeting & resourcing, and you understand the media production process.
  • Have familiarity with the creative development process to help our production and content management teams move quickly and efficiently.
  • Know when assets are needed, what format they are needed in, and can help source them.
  • Must have an advanced understanding of all aspects of production, including production equipment, lighting, cameras/lenses, and audio.
  • Organized with checking equipment in and out for shoots and oversee maintenance of equipment when needed.
  • Work with facilities for Production needs on the T-Mobile campus.
  • Support the production team on set/stage and help in any capacity necessary to ensure the shoot gets executed flawlessly with no room for error.
  • Work independently and proactively.
  • Know when to get others involved, and how to work with peers inside and outside creative and production teams.
  • Able to work extended hours as necessary and some weekends
  • Able to handle DIT duties on set and willing to learn new skills that may be needed of you.
  • Keep your cool with tight deadlines and quick turnarounds.
  • Support producer in cataloguing all final budget actualizations, purchase orders, invoices, location/ art/ talent releases for each production.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in video or film production, marketing, advertising, or related experience.
  • 1-2 years experience in video production
  • Experience managing daily production-related activities, including budget, scripts, crew hires, editing, deliverables, and quality control
  • Working knowledge of audio/video production and editing tools (Adobe Premier & After Effects)
  • Organized, creative, and proactive
  • Flexibility with constant changes to project details
  • Positive attitude – even when deadlines are short, productions are demanding, and resources are limited
  • Ability to track high volume of detailed notes and changes at a fast pace
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in Egnyte, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage; knowledge of aspects of AI is preferred
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Base Pay Range: $51,700 - $93,300

Corporate Bonus Target: 10%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
