T-Mobile’s Travel & Expense Department is looking for an individual who is ready to join a high-performing team in a dynamic work environment. Reporting to the Manager, Reporting and Decision Support, this role will execute on the department analytical strategy and goals. Primary responsibilities will include presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership for decision making and strategic planning. This person will lead cross-functional meetings and present findings to the leadership team. Responsibilities include guiding the reporting portfolio for the Travel & Expense team.Job Responsibilities:
Maintain data completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the reporting data warehouse and operational reporting.
Build and maintain interactive and complex dashboards using data visualization tools for operational reporting and ad hoc requests and provide read-outs.
Work cross-functionally to enable data architecture and solutions that best meet the analytics and reporting needs of the business.
Proactively and systematically identify and implement any enhancements to reporting and analytics processes.
Analyze data and prepare variance and root-cause analysis.
Support the of Travel, Expense, and Card team with data related inquiries and become a SME on the underlying data required for business intelligence
Strive to ensure the corporate card and expense program is current, effective and best-in-class.
Support benchmarking with peer companies and/or industry associations, keep up to date on latest trends and developments within the industry, and apply best practices to business processes.
Responsible for other ad-hoc projects as assigned by business management, as needed.
Coordinate with other data and reporting teams within the department and across the company to ensure data repositories are in line with company standards (e.g., security, employee privacy).
Education:
Bachelor's Degree: Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or related fields
Work Experience:
4+ years of experience mining data and developing reports using a variety of reporting/analytics software packages with an aptitude for learning new reporting software packages.
4+ years of experience using SQL in different data management platforms (e.g. SQL Server, Snowflake, Databricks) to query and manage data
Experience with travel, expense and card processes and data, including strong background with Concur/Cognos, SAP, Workday, TMC data, Card data, etc.
Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of analytical concepts and techniques including cost-benefit analysis, sensitivity analysis, predictive analytics, optimization, decision trees, performance metrics and scoring
Expertise with BI/data visualization and insights tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Alteryx
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities & deliverables in a fast-paced, dead-line oriented environment
Strong ability to think creatively and develop new solutions
Able to build strong cross-functional relationships
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
