Job OverviewThe Performance Analytics Reporting Team empowers decision-makers by providing self-serve, interactive dashboards that transform data into actionable insights. With a focus on answering business questions and driving impactful outcomes, we measure our success by the clarity we bring and the tangible actions taken based on the insights our dashboards provide. We play a vital role in guiding informed business strategies, monitoring and tracking business performance, and fostering data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.
We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Business Systems, who is an expert in dashboard design and data visualization that can build flexible, dynamic, and interactive dashboards to provide insight into business performance, emerging trends, and distant outliers. Someone who can understand the needs and wants of the business to provide guidance and enable insight. You live and breathe data and are driven by the desire to share that information in effective and efficient ways.
*** This position must be located in Bellevue, WA, Overland Park, KS, or Frisco, TX. This is not a remote role, this is a hybrid environment requiring at least 3 days a week in office.
Job Responsibilities:
Work multi-functionally as needed to provide solutions that best meet the analytics and reporting needs of the business. Drive clarity on requirements and ensure delivery meets agreed upon requirements
Document dashboard design, data sources, and report logic
Complete complex ad-hoc research, analysis, and reporting
Build interactive Tableau dashboards with parameterized views and dimensional drill downs
Craft and develop Tableau dashboard templates that provide standardization of views with flexibility in data structures
Manipulate staged data sets to provide flexibility in visual design
Provide guidance and expertise in dashboard design principles and best practices
Fosters business knowledge and understanding among business systems analysts and project partners. Brokers consensus among partners with conflicting needs
Elicits and evaluates information gathered from various sources, reconciles conflicts, decomposes high-level information into details, abstracts up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requests
Facilitates requirement sessions with partners and creates comprehensive work products documenting requirements, including validation and traceability of requests. Has understanding on how projects align to broader organizational goals and business benefit
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (Required)
Work Experience:
5+ years advanced data visualization experience (Sankey, Pareto, Bullet, Waterfall, etc.)
4+ years visualization experience with Tableau Desktop (parameterized dimensions and measures, period over period, LOD expressions, tooltip charts, custom actions, etc.)
2+ years SQL experience (Snowflake, T-SQL, Teradata, Oracle, etc.)
3+ years of experience with published dashboards on Tableau Server (permissions, schedules, alerts, etc.)
2+ years of experience with connecting to and working with large data sets in Tableau (>10M record data sets, >10k data points to visualize)
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities & deliverables in a fast-paced, dead-line oriented environment
Outstanding organizational, problem solving, and analysis skills
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work independently with limited supervision and prioritize
Able to build strong multi-functional relationships
Ability to perform data investigation (e.g., data source identification, feasibility of joins, determine data reasonableness based on business insights)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Task oriented

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
