Senior Business Analysis Manager – Wholesale Strategy

Join T-Mobile’s dynamic and innovative Wholesale Strategy team, where bold ideas and data-driven decisions fuel the growth of our fast-paced Wholesale business. This team drives the vision and direction behind our Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO), Aggregators, and Resellers segments, offering cutting-edge connectivity, platforms, products and programmable network solutions. As one of the rapidly growing areas within T-Mobile, Wholesale is entrepreneurial, future-focused, and constantly evolving.

We’re looking for a Senior Business Analysis Manager who thrives in complexity, loves solving problems with data, and is excited to influence key strategic and operational decisions. In this individual contributor role, you'll use your analytical expertise to uncover insights, evaluate trade-offs, and guide decisions that impact T-Mobile Wholesale unit business growth. You’ll provide inputs for products and offer design supported by market research and data analysis, and work cross-functionally with senior leaders to shape initiatives that align with our overarching goals.

This is a hybrid work environment with three days in the office.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop structured, data-driven models to help leaders make informed decisions across strategic initiatives.
  • Create detailed business cases for new opportunities, including market sizing, competitive analysis, industry trends, and pricing recommendations.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify risks and opportunities; develop strategic responses to strengthen market position.
  • Conduct post-launch performance analysis, including portfolio assessment and competitive positioning.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing thought leadership and guidance on Wholesale portfolio strategy.
  • Translate ambiguous, incomplete, or conflicting inputs into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Serve as an internal data expert—extracting, analyzing, and interpreting datasets to address key business questions.
  • Prepare compelling executive presentations that effectively communicate complex analysis and strategic insights.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Business Development, Product, Pricing, Finance, and Marketing teams.
  • Drive collaboration and innovation across a matrixed organization through clear communication and creative problem-solving.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
  • MBA or Master’s in a quantitative discipline preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in financial modeling, strategic analysis, and problem solving
  • A proven ability to tackle complex business challenges and deliver data-backed recommendations
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the agility to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills—able to clearly explain abstract or technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Experience influencing senior leadership through strategic analysis and effective storytelling
  • Background in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic finance, or investment banking preferred
  • SQL or database management skills are a plus
  • Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States

Base Pay Range: $96,700 - $174,400

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
