
Senior Business Development Manager

The Sr. Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding the market footprint of T-Mobile's network APIs, working closely with aggregators, resellers, and direct customers to drive adoption. This role combines strategic sales, account management, and business development, ensuring partners are fully supported in integrating, monetizing, and scaling T-Mobile’s API solutions.Success in this role requires a deep understanding of API-driven business models, enterprise sales, and commercial partnership management. This leader will be a key player in scaling revenue through third-party aggregators and direct-to-enterprise partnerships!
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, onboard, and oversee strategic partnerships with aggregators, resellers, and enterprise customers.
- Develop and execute partner engagement strategies to drive growth for fraud prevention, authentication, and other network APIs.
- Manage the full commercial relationship lifecycle, from initial prospecting and contract negotiation to revenue optimization.
- Provide strategic analysis and market insights to recommend new opportunities and expand T-Mobile’s API ecosystem.
- Partner with internal teams (product, legal, finance, and operations) to streamline deal execution and integration.
- Develop pricing models, revenue forecasts, and monetization strategies for API-based services.
- Act as a trusted advisor to partners, helping them navigate technical integration, product positioning, and commercial scaling.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic sales in network APIs, telecom, cybersecurity, fraud prevention, or enterprise software.
- Strong experience working with aggregators and resellers, managing large-scale commercial agreements and revenue growth.
- Deep knowledge of API monetization strategies, pricing models, and technical integrations.
- Exceptional ability to lead enterprise-level relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive business expansion.
- Proven ability to analyze market trends, develop business cases, and execute growth strategies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.

Base Pay Range: $120,500 - $217,400Corporate Bonus Target: 20%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
