Senior Commercial Marketing Manager- Voice Acquisition

This is not a remote position. T-Mobile is a hybrid work environment requiring the successful candidate be in the office three (3) days per week. This position is open to candidates in Bellevue, WA; Overland Park, KS or Frisco, TX

Job Overview
T-Mobile reinvented the wireless experience—and We Won’t Stop. The Consumer Postpaid Voice Marketing team is focused on creating features and benefits that deliver tangible value to our customers and prospects. The Sr. Commercial Marketing Manager is a critical role within the team that is responsible for leading Innovation in partnership with multiple functions across the business – Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Media, Segments, and many more. This seasoned marketer will leverage consumer insights, real-time and historical business performance, and Voice of the Customer data to facilitate effective Innovation planning discussions and develop/maintain the rolling 18-month Innovation calendar. You will also create and drive marketing strategies for key brand moments, such as product launches, promotions, events, and partnerships that showcase T-Mobile's value proposition, differentiation, and innovation. This position calls for a highly creative, strategic thinker, and strong communicator who excels at developing new ideas and gathering support through effective relationship building and compelling storytelling.

Essential Functions 

  • Use data analytics, customer insights, and market trends to facilitate cross-functional discussions that lead to tangible opportunities to address unmet customer needs, deliver customer value and create differentiation within the market. 
  • Create business cases to support Innovation concepts and craft compelling stories that articulate the value to the customer and the business. Prioritize concepts and present to senior leadership for buy-in.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments and develop 18-month calendar in partnership with cross-functional partners.
  • Manage the Innovation pipeline end-to-end including trade-off discussions, funding allocation, program management and reporting on results achieved. Leverage learnings to continuously iterate on new concepts.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional Marketing teams to maintain a steady drumbeat of news focused on customer value and differentiation within the marketplace.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members to foster growth and ensure alignment with organizational goals.


Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Master's or Advanced Degree (Preferred).


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years developing and executing marketing strategies/ plans in an agency or corporate environment, including new concept development
  • 5+ years managing key business metrics – e.g. customer growth targets and financials, and facilitating trade-off discussions for investment
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and think creatively to identify market opportunities and implement solutions that resonate with customers
  • Strong data analysis and business insight skills to drive marketing decisions and strategies 
  • Experience and successful track record of storytelling for a brand, plus developing and driving impactful and innovative brand marketing campaigns across multiple channels and platforms.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate customer insights, brand objectives, and performance metrics into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with gathering consumer insights and effectively facilitating brainstorming/ concept development workshops
  • Strong collaboration and partnership skills, experience driving cross-functional teams to execute complex strategies 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and present ideas effectively to senior leadership
  • Strong program management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, make trade-off decisions, and effectively communicate priorities to partner teams
  • Collaborative, yet influential
  • Flexible, self-starter, and comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment
  • Desire for a high level of responsibility and ownership and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Creative problem solver and solutions provider
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects; detail oriented and organized
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Base Pay Range: $109,300 - $197,200

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
