Senior Data Solutions Analysis Manager

T-Mobile Advertising Solutions (T-Ads), a division of T-Mobile USA, is a new business unit within the Marketing, Innovation and Experiences division focused on solving some of the biggest pain points in the media advertising industry. The Sr Data Solutions Analysis Manager delivers actionable insights and helps leaders throughout the T-Ads business to make critical strategic and operational decisions and shape the long-term vision of leveraging data to empower advertisers. The Sr Data Solutions Analysis Manager is responsible for developing campaign insights, analysis, and reporting using various analytical techniques and requires strong experience in ads measurement, statistical methods, data extraction and business intelligence/reporting software. They create customer-centric recommendations informed by thoughtful analysis and good business acumen. This role will partner with business and product stakeholders to drive solution and capability improvements in a matrixed environment through creativity, and effective communication of market requirements. They lead collaborative efforts with various teams including sales, product and marketing teams on solving complex advertiser challenges with data. This position will drive the design and delivery of client facing ads measurement and results reporting, as well as administration of standardized campaign insights and measurement reports to be utilized across teams. They are comfortable acting as an internal data SME and as an external advocate for T-Ads data assets, capabilities and solutions for advertisers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Interact with various teams across T-Ads and T-Mobile to identify and leverage appropriate datasets to provide insights, analysis and recommendations that deliver value to advertisers. 

  • Serve as a key point of contact in informing and developing data and measurement solutions to drive advertiser capabilities and measure performance, including reports, dashboards, visuals, and self-service environments

  • Define product feature and campaign success metrics and benchmarks. 

  • Experience employing qualitative and quantitative ads research and measurement methods including testing and experimentation frameworks(i.e. randomized control trials, A/B testing, and matched-market studies, multi-variate testing)

  • Utilize data analytics and modeling capability to enhance decision making across internal and external advertiser use cases. Present findings and recommendations for prioritization of resources to all levels of the organization. 

  • Oversee and lead one or more proof-of-concept for new and emerging data-derived capabilities and solutions for advertisers inclusive of understanding market data.  

  • Construct executive-level presentations and present complex analytical findings in clear, concise and decision-impacting manner. Possess the ability to influence leadership through fact-based analysis. 

  • Experience in AdTech industry required.

  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.   

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Data analysis, data science, decision science, similar quantitative fields or equivalent practical experience (Required)​

Work Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience Analytics experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches preferably in AdTech

  • 7-10 years of experience Reporting & analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) 

  • Advanced analytics, which includes SQL analysis of complex datasets, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis & research 

  • Ability to manage relationships, influence and communicate complicated analysis, logic, and solutions in a clear and concise manner at the executive level and provide decision support, analysis and recommendations that help to drive effective execution of initiatives. 

  • Exceptional at using wide ranging datasets to deliver broad analysis and insights to maximize value creation and return on investment. 

  • Experience with Python, R, Go or similar statistics or data science language preferred.

Base Pay Range: $96,700 - $174,400

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
