Senior Manager, Media - Video & Sponsorships

The Senior Manager, Media – Video & Sponsorships plays a critical leadership role within T-Mobile’s Media organization, overseeing more than $1B in enterprise investment across video and sponsorship channels. This leader defines the strategic vision for how T-Mobile shows up across video ecosystems and high-impact partnerships — driving measurable business outcomes, innovation, and cross-functional alignment across all five lines of business.

They will balance long-term enterprise strategy with in-quarter execution, delivering scalable media solutions that maximize ROI, elevate brand equity, and keep T-Mobile at the forefront of a rapidly evolving media and technology landscape. This role requires a leader who inspires teams, embraces experimentation, and navigates complex cross-functional partnerships to deliver excellence at speed and scale.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead & Inspire: Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of media managers; foster collaboration, accountability, and an innovation mindset.
  • Strategic Vision: Define and lead the enterprise investment strategy for video and sponsorships, ensuring alignment with T-Mobile’s business and growth objectives.
  • Merchandise the Work: Elevate visibility and understanding of Media’s impact through clear, compelling storytelling. Translate complex strategies and results into concise narratives and visuals that showcase business outcomes. Build enterprise alignment by packaging insights, recaps, and innovations that spotlight Media’s role in driving growth.
  • Enterprise ROI Leadership: Oversee planning, execution, and optimization of media investments to drive measurable business returns across all LOBs.
  • Test & Learn Excellence: Champion a data-driven culture of experimentation and continuous learning in partnership with Media Analytics and Brand/Sponsorship Measurement teams.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Build deep, strategic relationships with Marketing, Sponsorships, Finance, Legal, Brand, Creative, Social teams and Media Partners to ensure integration, alignment, and impact.
  • Executive Engagement: Deliver compelling insights, frameworks, and performance updates to VP+ leaders, influencing key investment and strategic decisions.
  • Budget & Performance Management: Oversee multimillion-dollar video and sponsorship budgets with precision, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and fiscal accountability.
  • Agency & Partner Oversight: Lead relationships with agency and media partners to drive innovation, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.
  • Innovation & Emerging Platforms: Stay ahead of evolving consumer behavior, AI-driven optimization, and emerging video platforms to ensure T-Mobile remains at the forefront of media and sponsorship innovation.
  • Market Intelligence: Continuously evaluate marketplace trends, competitor activity, and new technology to identify opportunities that elevate brand relevance and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience across media strategy, sponsorships and video investment, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated leadership in building, mentoring, and inspiring high-performing media teams.
  • Proven success driving measurable ROI across complex, multi-channel investments.
  • Experience managing large-scale, multimillion-dollar budgets with executive-level accountability.
  • Strong capability in influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Expertise in media measurement, test & learn frameworks, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at the VP+ level.
  • Deep understanding of best-in-class practices in top-tier in-house media organizations.
  • Passion for the intersection of media, technology, and consumer behavior, leveraging emerging tools and AI to drive smarter, more effective outcomes.

Base Pay Range: $112,900 - $203,700

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
