Are you a data enthusiast with a passion for uncovering insights and driving business decisions? Join our high-performing Financial Planning & Analysis team as a Sr Analyst, Finance, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of T-Mobile’s Wholesale Line of Business, which includes Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO), Internet of Things (IoT), and Machine to Machine (M2M) segments.Key Responsibilities:
Innovate and Automate: Lead the charge in maintaining and improving our monthly forecast processes by automating data workflows, uncovering business insights, and identifying key forecast drivers.
Analyze and Advise: Utilize your expertise in statistical and financial modeling to analyze results, identify variances, and provide actionable insights into trends and financial performance. Your findings will directly influence business decisions.
Scenario Planning: Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to enhance decision-making across a range of options. Present your findings to senior management, helping shape the strategic direction of the business.
Benchmarking and KPIs: Measure key performance indicators and benchmark results across accounts, markets, business units, and channels to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with business partners and internal leadership to provide guidance on financial trends and operational drivers. Communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years in Finance, Accounting, Forecasting, or Budgeting.
Technical Skills: Highly proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with advanced modeling skills and applied business statistics. Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Data Savvy: Competence in extracting data from multiple database environments (Snowflake, MS SQL Server, Oracle) and distilling large amounts of data into meaningful insights (SSIS, Alteryx).
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting principles, including financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Independent and Organized: Ability to work independently with limited supervision, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry Experience: Wireless Telecom or Business to Business emerging technology experience is a plus.
Technical Tools: Familiarity with IBM Cognos, SAP/BPC, Hyperion, or equivalent systems.
Education:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
Preferred: Master’s degree.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
