Job Overview

Responsible for supporting the Operations organization's continuous improvement initiatives utilizing a broad range of data sources, analytical methods, and business approaches to deliver actionable recommendations to executive sponsors. A Senior Analyst Operations Insights is a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of Financial Controls impacting systems and processes within Procurement & Supply Chain Operations. Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. The position focus in to perform reviews/audits of Financial SOX Controls to ensure Controls are operating as designed and when necessary, provide guidance to Control Owners on what actions are required to remediate non-compliant operations. Techincal skills are required to source data as part of the testing approach. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments. Provides analytical support (including analytical systems development) by dissecting and structuring a wide range of complex business problems, extracting and analyzing data from a variety of sources, utilizing facts/data to derive a conclusion, and constructing presentations that distill complex analytical findings into communications that are intended to inform and influence decisions related to policy, procedure, and business practices. Typically has more than 5 years of experience.

*** This position must be located in Overland Park, KS. This role is hybrid, and cannot be a remote role. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute an analysis plan for moderate projects.
  • Query data from relational databases (MS SQL server). Demonstrate strong competency and comfort working with and analyzing large sets of data.
  • Query data from Ariba/SAP, Oracle ERP systems.
  • Perform data validation and data cleansing.
  • Develop presentations to show complex and customized analytical findings.
  • Perform and document Financial Control tests.
  • Participate to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build cross functional relationships.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Quantitative, Business or computer-related field such as mathematics, econometrics, statistics, operations research, or computer science.

Work Experience:

  • 4-7 years Related analyst work experience. (Required)

Base Pay Range: $75,200 - $135,700

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
