T-Mobile is building their new Oracle ERP platform, and are looking for a Sr. Architect who would be instrumental in architecting and crafting the integration of applications, and third-party solutions with the new ERP. The integration needs are primarily focused on connecting on-premises and cloud-based commercial software applications, such as ERP, CRM, HR and 3PL.
This individual is also responsible for developing and maintaining an application integration architecture blueprint for the ERP eco system. This individual plays a meaningful role in supporting Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement and IT work to drive value for the business.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Owns E2E solution design strategy across teams. Authors and leads the Conceptual Architecture and E2E Solution Architecture document. 
  • Clearly describes architecture, design strategies, standards, technical specifications, business benefits, opportunities and threats. Routinely crafts and presents executive and external materials, including white papers. 
  • Provide expert advice to project teams on use of integration technology, data architecture and modeling, system architecture including integration standard methodologies. 
  • Lead the overall technical design and end-to end solution design for assigned initiatives. Ensures quality, consistency and alignment of designs to TMUS standards and digital strategy. 
  • Provide oversight in standards alignment through reviews of technical artifacts such as Technical Design Documents, Architecture diagrams and Process Flows. 
  • Work with project teams in definition of requirements for integration strategies of their projects into the SAP/Oracle ERP Architecture. 
  • Applies a broad understanding of the products, systems and technologies across the business portfolio and deep technical ability on integration of these components to deliver a cohesive E2E solution architecture for a given initiative. 
  • Assist with incident response, solving, root cause analysis, and problem resolution 
  • Partner with leaders of other subject areas to ensure proposed solutions align with information, technology, infrastructure, business and security architectures. 
  • Reviews and identifies the gaps in the architecture and solution designs, assesses and defines remediation efforts or mitigation options. Aims toward practical solutions considering all teams, initiatives and long-term outlook.  
  • Makes and implements sophisticated decisions aimed at improving the quality, efficiency or ability to achieve revenue, profitability and strategic goals for the organization. 

Work Experience 

  • 4-7 years progressive experience in software engineering/enterprise architecture/technology leadership across multiple products, systems and/or platforms coupled with strong eye for business and executive presence. (Required)  
  • 4-7 years proven experience working in solutions design and enterprise architecture delivering IT solutions in ERP integration environments (Required)  
  • Proven experience in Oracle ERP Cloud applications, middle-tier services, database, storage, distributed computing, virtualization and/or application technology. (Required) 
  • Knowledge of common system integration methods and technologies including Web services, SOAP, JSON, XML Schema Definition (XSD), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Business process automation and orchestration tools and software 
  • Experience with the implementation of Continuous Integration practices and tooling to support automated build, delivery and regression test of commercial software 
  • Confirmed experience in handling relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams and internal partners 
  • A passion for all things tech and has a drive to experiment with new technologies and methodologies to see where they can benefit the business

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience. (Required)

Base Pay Range: $103,600 - $186,900

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
