Job Overview

The Sr Business Analysis Manager delivers big insights and helps leaders throughout the business to make critical strategic and operational decisions and craft the long-term vision of T-Mobile. The Sr Business Analysis Manager is responsible for insights, analysis, and reporting using various analytical techniques and software including statistics, data science, data mining, machine learning and business intelligence/reporting software. They build customer-centric recommendations informed by analysis, good discernment and partner with the business to drive improvements in a matrixed environment through creativity, and effective communication. They lead collaborative efforts with various teams including marketing, product and platform teams on complex modeling and analysis requests. This position also owns the design and development of reporting structures & interfaces, as well as administration of standardized reports to be used across teams. They are comfortable acting as an internal data SME and know where datasets are that will answer business questions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and investigate daily anomaly alert messages to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Regularly audit anomaly detection settings, adjusting sensitivity levels as needed, and ensure alert subscriptions are appropriately assigned.
  • Identify data integrity defects, initiate tickets or communication threads, and track issues through resolution.
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards in Tableau or Power BI, including pipeline monitoring, anomaly system tracking, and executive reporting.
  • Conduct ad-hoc deep-dive analyses across business functions to uncover insights and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Leverage data science techniques, such as predictive modeling and clustering, to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across T-Mobile to deliver data-driven recommendations that enhance operational and customer experiences.
  • Act as a key liaison for data and reporting solutions, providing reports, dashboards, and self-service analytics to support enterprise-wide decision-making.
  • Define and track key performance metrics for product features and marketing campaigns, establishing benchmarks for success.
  • Apply advanced analytical and modeling techniques to optimize resource allocation and guide strategic decision-making at all organizational levels.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, translating complex analytical findings into clear, concise insights that drive business impact and influence leadership.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Data analysis, data science, decision science, similar quantitative fields or equivalent practical experience (Required)

Work Experience:

  • 7-10 years Analytics experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
  • Reporting & analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, etc.): Advanced analytics, which includes SQL analysis of datasets, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis & research
  • Experience with Python, Databricks, Adobe Analytics, statistics, and data science preferred. (Required)
  • Telecommunications (Preferred)

  • Communication Ability to manage relationships, influence and communicate analysis, logic, and solutions in a clear and concise manner at the executive level and provide decision support, analysis and recommendations that help to drive effective execution of initiatives. (Required)

Base Pay Range: $96,700 - $174,400

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
