Sr Business Intelligence Analyst, Internet Performance Reporting

The Broadband Business Intelligence team supports business decision making through the delivery of key commercial and marketing performance insights to unravel the intricate problems that come with being a wireless ISP.

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst role is responsible for guiding the business through the analysis (and communication) of quantitative & qualitative data.

The right person will be experienced in visual storytelling on the impact of marketing campaigns/tactics and know how to go from requirements gathering to presentation, with tailored content for varying levels of audience. Insights and analysis generated in this role will be critical to driving decisions about business/product performance across the broadband organization.

This role requires the creation of customer centric solutions driven by data analysis, business acumen, creativity, and effective communication.
This position will participate in the design and development of reporting structures and interfaces, as well as model building.

This is a hybrid position required to be working in-office at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the business intelligence needs of the business by using data from various sources (e.g. AWS Redshift, Azure, Databricks). Guide data strategy across multiple touch points (e.g. new third party data acquisition and integration).

  • Lead the process of driving core insights from available data and create strategies to improve the customer experience & performance. This involves collaboration with Marketing Managers, Data Scientists, and others. 

  • Early involvement in enterprise projects to define reporting needs & incorporating those needs into system design.

  • Create comprehensive dashboards from different data sources for presentations to senior management on verbal and written forms

  • Provide recommendations to cross-functional teams, resulting in process improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in statistics, business, or a related field; or 4 years of related work experience.

  • 4 years of Data Visualization & Storytelling with Tableau

  • 4 Years of experience with performant querying of databases (SQL)

  • Be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Good communication skills to all levels of technical expertise

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Base Pay Range: $80,600 - $145,500

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
