Job OverviewT-Mobile is transforming the traditional retail experience from a simple transactional interaction to an inspiring journey of discovery and connection. We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead planning and execution around all administrative, financial and operational activities for the Retail Strategy and Experience organization. You will be part of a cross-functional team owning portfolio management, group project and program management, resource management, and vendor relationship management for a dynamic strategy & execution organization. This role will contribute to the RS&E organization by designing and leading cross-functional and interdisciplinary projects and programs. The Sr Business Operations Manager is responsible for designing and leading the execution of large projects and programs from intake to execution, providing oversight and guidance to SME’s and senior leadership . The Sr BOM may also lead intake and prioritization activities for the RS&E leadership team and manage vendor relationships for large, multi-year engagements. This position will also support the RS&E organization through effective resource management and cross-functional relationship management. Ideal candidate must provide exceptional leadership and effective management in all areas: financial management, vendor management, back-office operations, risk and compliance, change management, and executive communication.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as the RS&E leader primary point of contact and supports operational management for the RS&E organization.
May be required to serve as proxy for the Business Operations leader in key critical business meetings/projects in relation to operational issues, projects, team progress and risk-related issues.
Responsible for ensuring availability of required metrics and executive reporting.
Accountable to continually monitor the top priority active projects within the RS&E organization and ensuring RS&E leadership has appropriately prioritized such project, keeping the leadership team abreast of all matters of significance requiring immediate attention.
Will serve as the organization's coordinator of resource deployment, organizational design, goal management, project leadership and management of many special projects on an as-needed basis.
The Sr Business Operations Manager must possess solid operational and project management knowledge along with financial acumen and serve as a capable steward of the company's financial resources.
Serve as department liaison across other functional groups regarding process change, policy change, compliance issues, department-wide communications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of RS&E initiatives.
Develop detailed execution plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of programs, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Related field (Required)
Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related (Preferred)
Work Experience:
More than 10 years Planning experience. (Required)
More than 10 years Experience in operations management, project portfolio management; telecom experience preferred. (Preferred)
More than 3 years Experience working in Consulting (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $102,400 - $184,600Corporate Bonus Target: 20%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
