Join T-Mobile as a Sr Commercial Marketing Manager -GTM, Offers & Capabilities and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of broadband growth and category dominance. This dynamic position involves developing and implementing innovative consumer strategies within a 12-month horizon. Collaborate with various internal and external teams, including Market Intelligence, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Network, Program Management, and CX Operations, to define and implement a strategic vision. Own the discovery phase for new opportunities and present recommendations to senior leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, data-driven professional to identify new solutions and manage impactful projects in an encouraging environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Acquisition Plan: Develop and implement a comprehensive plan (Commercial Marketing Requirements Document) to achieve activation/nets targets within a 6-month horizon. This includes defining value propositions, segment definitions, RTB hierarchy, offer mix, and sales channel strategies to drive conversion.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with LOB Marketing, Brand Activation, and Commercial Growth Steering teams to drive strategy intake, brief goals, and steer execution, ensuring business outcomes are met.
- Strategic Partnerships: Work with Business Development teams and partners (Google, Amazon, Samsung, etc.) to develop strategic partnership opportunities aligned with growth objectives.
- Innovation and Planning: Support work-streams to build and capitalize on key activation moments against commercial objectives (e.g., Un-carrier ideation, Cable Response Strategy, Seasonal/Tentpole thinking).
- Quarterly Offers Execution: Implement quarterly offers by partnering with operations, supply chain, finance, messaging, product management, analytics, consumer insights, pricing, and more.
- Capability Enablement: Enable capabilities in advance of the quarter to support in-quarter steering teams in driving activation and conversion targets against unexpected headwinds.
- Rate Plan Design Support: Support offer rate plan design, requirements, and capability to streamline implementation in channels across legacy and future-state systems/architecture.
- Documentation and Training: Develop MRDs, trainings, FAQs, and other documentation to support offer execution and implementation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related studies, or 11 years of equivalent work experience. Master's or Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years in Marketing, preferably in software/hardware, web, telecommunications, consumer electronics, or consumer packaged goods.
- Skills: Proven track record to define and lead marketing plans cross-functionally against shared objectives. Deep industry knowledge, including consumer challenges and competitive landscape. Experience in building acquisition marketing plans, creative/messaging development, and insights-driven performance analytics.
- Attributes: Comfort with ambiguity and a dynamic work environment. Clear and concise interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to present sophisticated technical information to diverse audiences.
- Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
