Position summary:

T-Mobile is America’s supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Sr Corporate Strategy Manager is located in Bellevue, WA will synthesize recommendations and understand their impact on the business.

•Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform a leading role on projects, working closely with internal clients to understand key business issues and structure problem solving approaches.

  • Structure analytical problems, extracting and analyzing data.

  • Oversee development of financial and other decision-making models.

  • Build financial and other decision-making models.

  • Construct executive level presentations and present complex analytical findings in clear, concise, and decision-impacting manner.

  • Work with client organizations to build buy-in and drive change.

  • Coordinate cross-functional activities, such as analysis for CS&A input and message development.

  • Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to enhance decision making across a range of options.

  • Provide professional development guidance for Corporate Strategy Managers and Sr. Corporate Strategy Analysts.

Minimum requirements:

Experience and education requirements:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Administration or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or related, and 7 years of relevant, post-Bachelor’s work experience.

Skills requirements: Requires experience in each of the following:

  • Building and maintaining complex financial models with components including sustainable architecture, intuitive input controls, flexible sensitivity modules, cash flow and income/EBITDA statements, and Net Present Value calculations using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and MATLAB.

  • Utilizing Prezi, Canva, Adobe and Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel to construct communication documents for executives that convey complex strategic, financial, and analytical insights and recommendations.

  • Developing new business growth & market strategies based on consumer insights, market research, competitor research, and clear business cases using tools such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, and Salesforce to collect and analyze customer and market sentiments.

  • Conducting research using: S&P, AlphaSense, Thomson One, Reuters, EDGAR, and CrunchBase to build comprehensive and reliable fact bases on unfamiliar topics or companies.

  • Utilizing statistical analysis and modeling tools including R, SQL, SAS, and Alteryx to analyze large data sets gathered from internal sources or through external market research and synthesize findings through Tableau and PowerBI.

  • Conducting complex business, economic and financial analysis such as competitive cost analysis, customer segmentation analysis, break-even analysis, game theory analysis and decision analysis using Tableau, PowerBI, MATLAB and Stata.

OTHER: Work hours: 40 hours/week. Salary: $152,700 to $206,500 per year.

  • The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.

  • At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives. Candidate’s pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.
