Job Overview
The Sr Director of SMB Channel Sales will be a key leader in driving the success of our SMB sales channels. This role is responsible for activating channels and aligning talent to exceed activation targets. The ideal candidate will be adept at defining strategies for profitability and support models for Alternative Channels, while partnering with Branded and National Retail to achieve financial objectives. As a senior strategic leader, the Sr Director will be responsible for recruiting and developing top sales talent to build a high-performing team across multiple geographic regions, while driving exceptional sales results and fostering long-term customer relationships. This role involves collaborating with internal cross-functional Directors (product, marketing, operations, sales) and engaging with C-level executives, external partners, Vice-Presidents, and Sales Managers to build and maintain strong partnerships.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Focusing on Activating Channels and Aligning Talent: Drive channel activation and ensure that the right talent is in place to exceed activation targets.
  • Defining Strategies for Profitability: Develop and implement strategies to ensure profitability, supporting the model for Alternative Channels and collaborating with Branded and National Retail partners.
  • Developing Sales Strategy and Territory Planning: Craft and implement comprehensive sales strategies and territory plans to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Partner and Customer Relationship Development: Build and nurture strong relationships with key partners and customers to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Leading Large Sales Teams: Lead and motivate large sales teams to achieve and exceed sales targets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Driving Revenue and Cost Savings: Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost savings through strategic initiatives, process improvements, and effective resource management.

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics or related field (Required)
  • Master's/Advanced Degree Business Administration or related advanced degree (Preferred)



  •  
  • Work Experience:
  • 7-10 years Extensive experience in sales, with a proven track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth. (Required)
  • 7-10 years Experience in a managerial or leadership role, demonstrating the ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams. (Required)

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in a similar industry or related field that demonstrates valuable insights into market dynamics and industry trends (Required)
  • Sales Leadership: Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the SMB sector. (Required)
  • Strategic Planning Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies. (Required)
  • People Management Skilled in leading, managing, and developing a team to foster a high-performance sales environment. (Required)
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and customers. (Required)
  • Communication Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners. (Required)
  • Sales Operations Experience with sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. (Preferred)
  • Strategic Influence: Experience in interacting with and influencing senior management to align sales strategies with organizational goals. (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $220,800 - $298,800

Corporate Bonus Target: 35%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
