Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Events Manager to lead the planning, execution, and performance management of a portfolio of events (mainly highly visible experiential, brand-fame and announcement events designed to engage and excite our customers, prospects and the media). This person will be a senior individual contributor who will pull in event resources from across the corporate events team to support the planning and execution of their events. This person will leverage and engage the skills of colleagues and have strong interpersonal and influencing skills. This individual has a passion for and experience in creating impactful brand experiences through events, with fundamental understanding of how to use events to drive growth for the business. The role will oversee the event marketing process including strategic planning, creative development, execution, measurement, and communication of events. This person will work cross functionally with multiple internal departments, properties, agencies, and senior-level leadership.

** This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and can be based in Bellevue, WA, Overland Park, or Frisco, TX. Must be able to accommodate up to 20% travel **

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement world-class, high-impact experiential events that elevate the brand and deliver memorable, multi-sensory experiences for consumer and B2B audiences across the U.S.
  • Lead end-to-end event strategy, planning, and execution for high-profile activations—ranging from major product launches and music festivals to retail takeovers and pop-up brand experiences.
  • Collaborate across internal teams and external agency partners, pulling in resources from creative, production, legal, marketing, and field teams as needed to support each event’s success.
  • Develop and manage large-scale budgets for production, talent booking, staging, creative fabrication, and logistics—ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and brand standards.
  • Act as the primary project owner and cross-functional lead, ensuring achievements are met on time and on budget, without direct reports but through effective influence and coordination.
  • Source, contract, and lead high-profile talent, performers, and influencers, collaborating with legal and brand teams to negotiate terms and ensure brand fit.
  • Ensure perfect on-site execution, acting as the lead producer during live events, and problem-solving in real time to maintain the integrity and impact of the brand experience.
  • Deliver measurable results by setting KPIs and partnering with insights/analytics teams to evaluate performance, guest engagement, and return on experience (ROX).
  • Stay on the forefront of event trends, pop culture, and experiential innovation, bringing forward bold concepts that reflect the brand’s leadership in technology and lifestyle.
  • Champion creative storytelling through events, translating abstract ideas into tangible, emotionally resonant brand moments that cut through the noise and build cultural relevance.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in experiential marketing, event production, or brand activations, preferably in a high-volume consumer brand or agency environment.
  • Proven success managing complex, high-visibility events with large-scale budgets, celebrity/influencer talent, and premium production values.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills—demonstrated ability to influence without authority, mobilize internal partners, and drive alignment across creative, legal, finance, and marketing teams.
  • Expertise in vendor management and live production oversight, including scenic design, fabrication, staging, audio/visual, lighting, and permitting.
  • Excellent creative judgment and storytelling instincts, staying up on cultural trends and a passion for translating brand strategy into immersive experiences.
  • High level of accountability and ownership, capable of independently managing multiple workstreams, timelines, and customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently represent the brand and collaborate effectively with senior leadership and external partners.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed, including evenings and weekends for onsite event execution and talent coordination

    Base Pay Range: $88,300 - $159,300

    Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

    The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

    At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
