Sr Finance Manager

This individual contributor role will support the Consumer Growth Team within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) group of T-Mobile USA. The Senior Finance Manager will drive business analysis to support customer activations forecasts. The successful Senior Finance Manager will identify forecast drivers and provide guidance and develop recommendations to leadership on forecast trends. This position will require a high level of business acumen, flexibility, critical thinking / analytical skills as well as an understanding of the T-Mobile go to market strategy. This is a position with visibility across the FP&A and business teams, supporting decision making at the highest levels.- Structures and analyzes large data sets and builds complex driver-based models supporting T-Mobile new account customer activations.
- Researches and stays informed of industry developments and trends.
- Consults with Commercial business partners and other FP&A partners to develop monthly / quarterly forecast assumptions. Present findings to Senior Management, including detailed risks and opportunities.
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to improve decision making across a range of options.
- Ability to achieve deadlines while managing multiple and changing projects, receive and incorporate executive level feedback, work cross functionally to build consensus on goals, assumptions and conclusions within FP&A and with business partners
- Constructs executive-level presentations and present complex analytical findings in a clear, concise, and decision-impacting manner.

Functional/Technical Skills:
This position requires a solid analytical foundation. We are seeking individuals who have:
- Current and advanced knowledge of strategic frameworks and driver-based analytics to evaluate complex business opportunities.
- Strong competency and comfort working with and analyzing large sets of data utilizing various tools (SQL, Snowflake, etc.). Perform data mining while ensuring validity and quality of data in support of projects.
- Advanced Excel modeling skills. Proficient in other MS Office Products. Knowledge of SAS, APT or other statistical software package or willingness to learn
- Ability to communicate highly quantitative or analytical findings succinctly and in formats easily understood by senior management.
- Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects and reprioritizing where needed.
- Excellent team player; able to collaborate with and influence multiple stakeholders at various levels of leadership
- Proven ability to develop/maintain strong partnerships across multiple enterprise functions
- Self-driven, highly motivated; ability to work independently and with limited supervision while managing multiple priorities
Education/Experience:
- 10+ years of related work experience including financial modeling and developing/influencing business strategies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Statistics, or other quantitative field. MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Quantitative Methods or Mathematics is highly preferred.
- Wireless Telecom or equivalent experience preferred.

Base Pay Range: $94,300 - $170,200Corporate Bonus Target: 20%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
