Sr HR Partner - Corporate Strategy and M&A

Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Sr HR Partner (Sr HRP) to provide dedicated human resources leadership and support to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) which includes Corporate Development, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), new business strategy and Joint Ventures. This role will act as a trusted advisor, partnering closely with the CSO and his leadership to drive talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, and culture initiatives that support the company’s growth objectives, including planning, business transformation, and mergers & acquisitions.

** This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and is based in Bellevue, WA **

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the SVP of Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development & M&A and leadership team, providing insights and recommendations on talent, organizational design, and workforce planning.
  • Align HR strategies with the business strategy, ensuring the right talent, leadership, and organizational capabilities will drive corporate growth and M&A initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership on change management efforts related to M&A and organizational transformation.
  • Provide HR leadership throughout the M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, organizational design, workforce integration, and cultural alignment.
  • Create and implement talent retention, leadership transition, and communication strategies for acquired companies.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify and develop high-potential talent, succession planning, and leadership readiness.
  • Drive initiatives to build a high-performance culture, ensuring employee engagement and alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Lead workforce planning efforts to ensure the right capabilities and skills are in place for future business.
  • Support leaders in building and sustaining a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Help lead talent development programs to bring in talent from other teams for stretch assignments and also place successful team members into leadership roles in other organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years as a strategic HR Business Partner supporting senior executives.
  • Experience in corporate strategy, business transformation, and M&A, including HR due diligence and pre and post-merger integration.
  • Strong business acuity with the ability to align HR strategies with corporate objectives.
  • Expertise in organizational design, leadership development, and workforce planning.
  • Strong partner management and influencing skills with executive leadership.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly vibrant environment with competing priorities.

Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $180,400

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
