Sr Manager, Creative Direction - Brand, Enterprise & SLT Video

*** This position is located in Bellevue, WA. This is not a remote role - we have a hybrid environment, requiring at least 3 days a week in office.

This role is responsible for setting the creative vision and leading the development of impactful video content across brand and enterprise initiatives—including executive (SLT) communications. The team’s scope spans everything from corporate comms and HR videos to brand sizzles, vision films, executive speakers, and major announcements. No project is too big or too small; every assignment—regardless of scale—receives the same level of thoughtful, high-quality creative leadership.

This leader oversees a team of creative directors producing content across multiple channels and partners closely with the Sr. Manager, Creative Direction (Design) to ensure brand cohesion and consistency across all deliverables.

The ideal candidate combines creative excellence with strong leadership, deep knowledge of channel standard methodologies, and exceptional interpersonal skills. They bring a strategic approach to storytelling, with the ability to translate complex business concepts into emotionally resonant narratives for both internal and external audiences. They also champion process improvements, foster a culture of trust and feedback, and drive creative innovation—including the integration of AI tools.

This role is primarily in-person, requiring an average of 3–4 days per week in the studio. Given the nature of the work and production cycles, the position regularly demands evening and weekend availability, especially in the lead-up to major deadlines. Flexibility beyond traditional business hours is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

· Creative Vision & Execution: Own the end-to-end creative process for video—from concept development through production and post-production—ensuring each project meets the highest standards of storytelling, craft, and brand alignment. Includes directing executive and employee talent on set.

· Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of creative directors and promoting a culture of excellence, experimentation, and growth, knowing where and how to find the creative opportunities within the parameters of brand, campaign, and specific execution.

· Integrate new technologies and AI tools into the team’s workflow to improve efficiency and support scalable creativity.

· Help the team manage multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring balanced workload and appropriate delegation of tasks.

· Support the team in tracking landmarks and review schedules to keep projects on time and aligned with expectations.

· Identify and prioritize high-impact creative efforts, focusing the team’s energy where it will deliver the most value.

· Develop templates, style guides, and content libraries to enable fast-turn, repeatable creative production while maintaining quality and brand consistency.

· Understand Multi-Channel Best Practices: Develop creative solutions tailored to diverse channels (web, social, live events, internal platforms), with a strong grasp of channel-specific storytelling formats and audience expectations.

· Story Development: Translate complex business concepts into emotionally resonant, clear, and compelling video(s) that inform and move an audience.

· Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including marketing, product, communications, and executive leadership. Help turn internal stakeholder input into creative brief that the creative team can implement.

· Feedback Communication: Distill and contextualize executive and partner feedback for the team, helping them understand not just the "what" but the "why"—and ensuring findings are incorporated into future work.

· Production & Budget Oversight: Oversee production timelines, vendor relationships, and budget management, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

· Workflow & Process Innovation: Create scalable workflows, incorporate AI and emerging tools, and optimize team efficiency without sacrificing creative quality.

· Trend Tracking: Stay on the cutting edge of storytelling, design, technology, and media formats to ensure the team’s creative output remains fresh and forward-thinking.

· Creative Benchmarking: Monitor creative standards across industry-leading brands and storytellers, using insights to raise the team’s ambition and output.

Qualifications:

· Experience: 8–10+ years of creative direction or video content leadership experience in high-performing internal creative and production teams or agencies.

· Creative Portfolio: A strong portfolio or reel showcasing end-to-end video storytelling, preferably across a variety of channels and audiences.

· Leadership: Proven success developing and leading creative teams, building trust with stakeholders, and translating feedback into action.

· Critical Thinking: Strong understanding of business strategy and the ability to create stories that drive business outcomes.

· Technical Fluency: Comfort with Adobe Creative Suite, video production tools, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI tools for editing, scripting, animation).

· Communication Skills: Exceptional storytelling and communication capabilities, with an interest in aligning vision across teams and subject areas.

· Adaptability: Comfortable working under pressure and adjusting to shifting priorities, with the ability to flex work hours during peak periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

· - Experience with executive-level storytelling and enterprise communications.

· - Knowledge of AI capabilities that enhance storytelling and video production workflows.

· - Background in high-growth or tech-oriented industries.

· - Familiarity with live event video production and post-event recap storytelling.

Base Pay Range: $114,600 - $206,700

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
