Sr. Manager, Digital Strategy and Operations

The centralized Digital Strategy team is responsible for the overall strategy and plan for Digital at T-Mobile. We are paving the way for a scaled digital future. The team designs and develops the investment strategy, for the digital experience portfolio at T-Mobile and is accountable for the Digital ROI. As a leader on this team you drive strategic insights, initiatives and transformation to support the development of long-term growth plans and profitability goals. The team aligns with the enterprise operating model and partners collaboratively with Marketing, Commercial, Product & Technology, Finance, Care and Retail. This team sets the proactive direction, and objectives for Digital, builds the management system, rhythms of business, centralized programs, and communication strategy that deliver success at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Has full view of team members scope; Designs strategy and can guide team to achieve business objectives for a portion of the portfolio. Responsible for the ROI framework for the Digital organization.
  • Lead and develop a team of strategists, and analytical business managers that are responsible for the design and delivery of the strategic management system, weekly, monthly quarterly game plan and annual planning rhythm(s), communications, budget and organizational management of the digital business
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional team collaboration for alignment of goals and budget to Digital Strategy across Finance, Commercial, Marketing, P Support the Director and Sr. Director in development of the strategy, plan and processes for successful implementation of the digital portfolio.
  • Recruit, premier talent while coaching and challenge a team of professionals to improve their strengths by providing opportunities for skill and career advancement.
  • Act as an inspirational leader that creates impact and value within the Strategy team and across the Digital Organization.
  • Successful delegation and prioritization of work to achieve success, with the ability to stretch other leaders within the Digital Organization.
  • Collaborate on setting the strategy, proactive direction, plan, and objectives for the Digital organization.
  • Develop and design an overall management system for Digital in alignment with the enterprise operating model.
  • Responsible for the Digital organization's overall performance and operating cadence through management of the ongoing planning process including weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual rhythms and budget/resource planning.
  • Collaborate and sustain relationships with Directors and Senior Directors across Digital, Marketing, Finance, EPO, Commercial as a primary point of contact for Digital Channel planning.
  • Collaborate with Digital VP, Sr. Directors/Directors and HR to handle Digital’s talent management and organizational change program that improve the Digital organization’s efficiency, effectiveness, and employee satisfaction.
  • Deliver overall digital communications strategic plan and execution for Digital executive communications for internal teams and external partners.
  • Prepare and present organizational reviews and communicate results and insights to top management.
  • Assess the current digital organization and design a plan of continuous improvement and training.

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Master's/Advanced Degree Business (Preferred)
  • 10+ Years in Business Management, Analytics, Strategy or Consulting (for Marketing, eCommerce or Digital (Preferred).
  • 7-10+ years in Marketing, Digital, E-commerce or related.
  • 3-5 years People Management with demonstrated success of growing high performing teams.
  • 3-5 years Business Analysis preferred. (Preferred)


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Advanced/authority written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of high-performing organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across organizational departments and develop strong relationships across a company.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead financial elements of the business, including budgets. Ability to measure, evaluate and act on financial and operational results.
  • Ability to make decisions under tight deadlines.

    Base Pay Range: $124,800 - $225,200

    Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

    The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

    At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
