Are you ready to make a bold move and elevate your career to the next level?We are seeking a Senior Manager Enterprise Observability to lead the strategy, development, and evolution of our enterprise observability platforms and tools. This leader will oversee a team focused on delivering scalable, reliable, and innovative solutions that provide deep insights into the performance, health, and reliability of T-Mobile’s systems and applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in observability disciplines—including monitoring, logging, tracing, and telemetry—and will partner cross-functionally with internal technology, security, and business teams to drive proactive detection, root cause analysis, and system optimization. This role is critical to enabling operational excellence and accelerating incident response across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:
- Effectively manages team to achieve results by providing appropriate direction, timely developmental feedback and coaching, and conducting performance reviews and conversations. Creating training, career development plans and ensures assignments with increasing levels of responsibility. Monitors and measures work tasks to ensure deliverables are provided on time and within budget.
- Defines and drives continuous development practice improvements across technical disciplines and organizations (e.g., team structure, roles, processes, tooling, security & compliance).
- Oversees technical relationships with multiple assigned vendors, including driving features and function requests for inclusion in future product releases.
- Driving and owning current and future state technical road map in collaboration with Design and Enterprise Architecture and building/maintaining cross organizational teams.
- Interviews and hires qualified managers and team members, striving to improve T-Mobile bench strength and augmenting product or project teams with contract staff when required.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or in a computer programming related field. (Required)
- 7-10 years Experience of developing large scale business systems applications. (Required)
- 2-4 years Management experience with programming staff including leadership, planning, and coordination of development work for 4 large projects. (Required)
- More than 10 years overall IT experience. (Required)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of observability solutions that support proactive detection, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Drive the vision, roadmap, and execution of observability tooling across logs, metrics, traces, events, and user experience monitoring.
- Partner with IT operations, development, SRE, and business stakeholders to define requirements, set priorities, and ensure observability solutions align with organizational goals
- Microsoft Office (Required)
- Visual Studio Proficiency with Visual Studio development environment preferred. (Required)

Base Pay Range: $159,900 - $288,500Corporate Bonus Target: 20%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
