Job OverviewThe Sr. Manager, HR Digital Experience directs a team that ensures HR technology reflects how employees work and what they need to thrive. This role blends business analysis, user experience, and emerging technology to design and deliver seamless, accessible, and data-informed experiences across the HR ecosystem. You will oversee business requirements, validation testing, and employee journey insights, integrating accessibility, automation, and AI into delivery. Partnering with HR Centers of Excellence, IT, UX, and analytics teams, you will help shape the strategy and execution of HR’s digital experience roadmap and the future of how employees engage with HR. By combining design, data, and emerging technology, the Sr. Manager, HR Digital Experience ensures every solution is simple, accessible, and loved — delivering on T-Mobile’s promise to create experiences that work beautifully for its people.
** This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and must be based in Bellevue, WA **
Job Responsibilities:
- Shape and drive the HR digital experience strategy, embedding employee insights, accessibility, and journey thinking into HR technology.
- Use employee journey mapping to identify friction and opportunity across touchpoints, influencing design and delivery priorities.
- Partner with IT and business leaders to align roadmaps with the evolving needs of a digital, data-driven workforce.
- Explore and apply AI, automation, and emerging technologies to simplify interactions and personalize HR experiences.
- Lead the definition, management, and traceability of business requirements for HR technology initiatives.
- Oversee business testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Business Validation Testing (BVT), ensuring readiness and adoption.
- Translate employee insights into actionable design and testing approaches that improve usability and performance.
- Drive consistency and quality through governance, agile delivery practices, and measurable success criteria.
- Build strong partnerships across HR, IT, and employee experience functions to deliver connected and scalable solutions.
- Establish feedback loops with COEs, functional leaders, and UX and insights teams to inform continuous improvement.
- Represent HR in cross-functional forums to advocate for employee-centric design and data-driven innovation.
- Lead and develop a team of Business Systems Analysts, cultivating expertise in analysis, design thinking, and experience measurement.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, curiosity, and continuous learning focused on delivering meaningful employee outcomes.
- Model effective storytelling and influence to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable strategies.
- Define and track key experience metrics, including accessibility, adoption, and satisfaction.
- Use analytics and feedback data to guide enhancements and demonstrate business impact.
- Connect experience outcomes to organizational goals and return on investment.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in HR technology, digital experience, or business systems leadership.
- Demonstrable ability to lead requirements definition, testing (UAT/BVT), and experience validation.
- Solid understanding of employee journey mapping, user experience principles, and accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA).
- Demonstrated experience applying AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve experience outcomes.
- Skilled in agile methodologies, stakeholder management, and multi-functional collaboration.
- Experience leading digital transformation or employee experience programs within HR or IT preferred.
- Familiarity with design thinking, persona development, and experience analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human-Centered Design, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

Base Pay Range: $137,100 - $247,400Corporate Bonus Target: 20%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
