Sr Manager, Reporting & Analytics

The Senior Manager, Reporting & Analytics will lead a team of Senior Business Analysts responsible for delivering standadrdized reports and dashboards, actionable insights, identifying key performance drivers, and enabling data-informed decision-making across the all the core mobility products (Multiple products with millions of subscribers and Billions of dollars P&L). This role serves as a strategic partner to both commercial and product leadership, translating complex data into clear, compelling business narratives that move beyond dashboards to explain the “why” behind performance.
The team delivers financial, commercial, product, and operational reporting solutions while conducting in-depth analyses that uncover trends, risks, opportunities, and whitespace for growth. Success in this role is measured by the accuracy, timeliness, and depth of insights delivered — as well as the team’s ability to influence decisions through clear and impactful communication.

Job Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of analysts focused on delivering high-quality reporting, insights, and decision support.

  • Own the design, development, and evolution of reporting frameworks and data models that provide visibility into financial, commercial, product, and operational performance.

  • Translate complex quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights that clearly articulate drivers behind KPIs and business outcomes.

  • Drive advanced analysis, including whitespace and opportunity analysis, trend forecasting, and root-cause diagnostics.

  • Partner closely with Product, Commercial, FP&A, Finance, Strategy, and Channel teams to ensure reporting aligns with business priorities and strategic objectives.

  • Oversee the integration of front-end, back-end, and enterprise data systems to create scalable, accurate, and user-friendly reporting solutions.

  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to leadership in clear, concise, and visually compelling formats tailored to diverse audiences.

  • Standardize and administer enterprise reporting solutions to ensure consistency, governance, and data integrity across stakeholders.

  • Construct executive-level presentations and present complex analytical findings in clear, concise and decision-impacting manner. Possess the ability to influence leadership through fact-based analysis.

  • Collaborate with leadership to deliver reporting solutions & deep analytics that drive financial, commercial, product and operational results

  • Partner with cross functional teams and data COE teams to develop data architectures that meet analytics and reporting requirements

  • Design and oversee the creation of reporting solutions, holistic dashboards (from various data sources) with key metrics in accessible formats.

  • Own the process of driving core insights from available data and provide analysis, including identifying business risks and opportunities and making recommendations to the team and business owners.

  • Present analysis & strategies to senior management in verbal & written forms. present complex analytical findings in clear, concise and decision-impacting manner. Possess the ability to influence leadership through fact-based analysis.

  • Lead and develop the analytics team to produce timely, high-quality analyses that inform program effectiveness

  • Conduct competitive analysis to inform offers & processes

  • Respond and produce additional ad hoc reporting analysis requests and assignments as required.

  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Data analysis, data science, decision science, statistics, or similar quantitative fields and 7 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)

  • Acceptable areas of study include Data analysis, data science, decision science, similar quantitative fields or equivalent practical experience (Preferred)

Relevant professional experience Including:

  • Business intelligence tools (eg Business objects, cognos, Hyperion etc)

  • Reporting and analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

  • Advanced analytics including SQL/ETL, analysis of complex datasets, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis & research ( Required)

  • 2-4 years Managing a team of finance or analytics professionals. (Required)

  • 4-7 years Python, R, Go or similar statistics or data science programming experience (Preferred)

  • SQL or database management experience (Required)

  • Telecommunication (Preferred)

  • Relevant experience preferred in one or more of the following (or related) categories: telecommunications, consumer electronics, and/or reverse logistics. ( Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $121,100 - $218,500

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
