Sr Managers, Product & Engineering

Sr Managers, Product & Engineering located in Houston, TX will work in collaboration with the Director to develop strategy, roadmap, goals (outcomes) to support our key business stakeholders, from various compliance & risk functions, to effectively leverage the Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) solutions.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaboration should extend to organization wide customer teams and groups to ensure GRC program consistently meets current regulatory obligations and is built to adapt for future regulatory changes.

  • Analyzing Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) technology requirements across various compliance domains such as Cybersecurity, Data privacy, Audit, Risk management, to develop roadmap for technology implementation of GRC processes.

  • Aligning the roadmap to enterprise priorities and objectives.

  • Multifaceted skills to expertly guide, architect and implement the GRC solutions using Archer and ServiceNow GRC technology systems, combined with strong regulatory compliance knowledge to guide the organization to meet the stringent requirements of regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), etc.

  • Building Intelligent automations to reduce manual efforts and to gain efficiencies by leveraging emerging technologies and digital accelerators like UiPath, BluePrism and Alteryx systems.

  • Enabling bi-directional integrations to support real-time data sync to automate processes and improve collaboration across systems through leveraging Application Program Interface (API) libraries, SQL queries and by using scripting languages like Javascript, PowerShell and VBScripting.

  • Building custom connectors for complex business needs.

  • Building analytical models and data visualization within the GRC platform and expanding the visualization capabilities by using Microsoft Office Suite visualizations, Tableau, and PowerBi software for reporting dashboards.

  • Expertise in anticipating, assessing, mitigating, and managing project risks which arise during large scale GRC technology implementations.

  • Timely and concise stakeholder and senior leadership communication of key risks that have a larger impact to the organization.

  • Leading and facilitating the GRC governance discussion with key board members by blending deep technical expertise, effective stakeholder management, and strong understanding of GRC frameworks.

  • Proactively identifying technology advancements to redefine current tools, such as Archer and ServiceNow GRC systems, and/or introduce new tools like LogicGate, RSAM, AuditBoard, MetricStream etc., to realize process efficiencies.

  • Facilitate vendor selection process to select new technology vendors.

  • Maintain strong documentation to aid with knowledge transfer, training, and knowledge retention.

  • Foster the culture of developing reusable software components for faster development and standardization of functionality across solutions.

  • Exercise the unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and managerial capabilities to inspire, coach, and nurture employees to excel in delivering best-in-class technology solutions.

  • Identify opportunities for employee professional growth and provide different opportunities to expand their overall GRC skillsets.

  • Telecommuting is permitted, but applicant must work from the worksite location at least 3-4 days per week. No additional national or international travel is anticipated.

Skill requirements:

  • (1) Leading Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) projects to meet the Regulatory, Compliance, Risk and Audit obligations.

  • (2) Evaluating Governance, Risk and Compliance modules including Policy management, Compliance Management, Vendor Risk Management, and Business Continuity Management.

  • (3) Enabling enterprise Compliance and Risk processes and solutions using Archer IRM and ServiceNow IRM GRC tools.

  • (4) Building automations, system integrations, and reporting dashboards with JavaScript and PowerShell, and by leveraging visualization tools including Tableau and Power BI.

  • (5) Providing technical leadership for a team size of at least 4 analysts and developers, and providing guidance for practicing new strategies and techniques.

Experience and education requirements:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related, or its foreign equivalent, and 5 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related, or its foreign equivalent, and 7 years of relevant work experience.

OTHER:  Work hours: 40 hours/week. Texas Pay Range: $222,789.00 - $238,000.00/year.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.
