Sr Pricing Managers

Position summary

T-Mobile is America’s supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Sr. Pricing Manager located in Bellevue, WA will provide strategic and analytical leadership for pricing initiatives that drive enterprise value.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop business case including the economic model of proposed offers/products with its associated pricing, define the logic and rationale for the proposal, and provide an assessment of key alternatives and trade-offs for all customer facing offers and products that is used to drive launch decisions.

  • Set the vision, philosophy, principles, guidelines, and methodologies for pricing with the objective of enhancing the perceived value proposition of products and maximizing the enterprise value.

  • Ensure brand/product portfolio alignment, fit, positioning, and rationalization within T-Mobile.

  • Lead the economic assessment of consumer-facing pricing initiatives (including Un-carrier moves) and promotions (includes rate plan and device price moves).

  • Drive decision making quality for a broad range of engagements including Un-carrier moves and external business partnership negotiation.

  • Provide strategic framework anchored on logical constructs and formulate trade-off-based options.

  • Generate actionable insights based on data-driven business analysis.

  • Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.

  • No additional national or international travel is anticipated.

Skill requirements:

  • (1) Performing modelling and forecasting utilizing forecasting methods including moving average, simple and multiple regression forecasting, and robustness tests;

  • (2) Utilizing SQL, Microsoft Office, and SAS to extract data from data warehouses and perform analyses to drive business decisions;

  • (3) Creating complex business cases using Excel and articulating the conclusions and implications in PowerPoint;

  • (4) Utilizing advanced statistical methods including time series regression, ARIMA, natural experiment, and survival analysis;

  • (5) Applying economic theories including microeconomic theory to inform assumptions used and develop scientifically sound structures for business cases/financial models; and

  • (6) Performing research design including hypothesis testing using cross-sectional, time series, and panel data.

Experience and education requirements:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Information Technology Management, Business Administration, or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management, Business Administration, or related, and 7 years of relevant work experience.

OTHER:  Work hours: 40 hours/week. Washington Pay Range: $183,581.00 - $188,581.00 /year.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.

Candidate’s pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.
