
Sr. Product Marketing Manager – Core Branded Products

As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager – Core Branded Products, you will generate product awareness, influence consideration, and drive revenue by defining product roadmaps and marketing strategies for T-Mobile’s branded products. Products and strategies should align with T-Mobile values and deliver exceptional experiences that delight customers.You will be the voice of the customer and support all stages of a products lifecycle, ideation through end of life. You will own business needs for the product roadmap, establish economic positions, obtain needed approvals, create marketing strategies, and own the overall story of products supported. You will partner with Corporate Strategy, Brand Management, GTM, Pricing and Promotions, Supply Chain, Product Development, and other internal/external groups.
Success in the role is achieved by deeply understanding customer needs, industry trends, economic impacts, and opportunities for T-Mobile. You will need to translate insights into meaningful executive presentations, Marketing Requirements Documents (MRD), value propositions, and marketing plans. You will need to partner with and influence others to ensure T-Mobile branded products receive desired awareness and consideration.
You will be accountable for monitoring KPIs, achieving targets, and reporting status to senior leadership. Goals are achieved through taking the lead, guiding others, and delivering results.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Product Positioning:
Develop and implement comprehensive product roadmaps and marketing strategies for core branded products, ensuring differentiation in the marketplace and alignment with business goals. Support the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, and beyond, ensuring consistent messaging and customer engagement.
Customer Insights & Market Analysis:
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, trends, and potential opportunities for differentiation. Utilize customer feedback, surveys, and analytics to define and/or fine-tune messaging, value propositions, and sales enablement materials.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with product management, brand, and sales teams to craft messaging, build product narratives, and ensure product offerings meet customer needs. Work with the digital marketing and creative teams to develop compelling content and campaigns for multiple channels.
Campaign Development & Execution:
Lead the development of, and influence execution, of integrated marketing campaigns for new product launches, feature updates, and ongoing promotions. Oversee messaging for product collateral, digital assets, presentations, and other marketing materials to ensure cohesive messaging across all touchpoints.
Sales Enablement & Training:
Support the sales team by providing them with training messaging and other resources to effectively communicate product benefits and drive sales. Conduct product briefings, develop competitive comparison cards, and collaborate with sales leadership to ensure alignment.
Performance Tracking & Optimization:
Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of product marketing efforts and continuously optimize campaigns for maximum impact. Analyze performance data to adjust strategies as needed to drive success toward goals.
Leadership & Mentorship:
Lead and/or mentor cross-functional team members. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment to encourage growth and creative problem-solving.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Business, Communications, or relevant field of study such as Computer Science (Required)
Work Experience:
7+ years experience delivering successful, holistic product marketing content and collateral that can be tied to increased business revenue (Required)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Go-to-market Strategy: Experience developing go-to-market strategies, messaging and related tactics in close cooperation with Product Management and Sales (Required)
Segmentation: A strong technical foundation, including experience delivering segment-specific solutions (Required)
Customer Experience Management: Extensive customer interaction experience and customer success storytelling (Required)
Communication: Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and strong content development skills (crisp messaging and compelling presentation of content) as well as excellent presentation, writing and editing skills (Required)
Project Management: Proven interaction, interface and project management with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing programs/campaigns, demand generation, field marketing and sales (Required)
Product Management: Understanding of product development needs, standard processes, and associated timelines needed for Branded products. (Required)

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
