
Sr Project Manager, HR Technology Delivery

At T-Mobile, our Senior Project Managers in HR Technology Delivery play a big role in bringing bold ideas to life. You’ll run mid to large-scale projects that make a real impact across our HR organization—projects that move fast, have high visibility, and require collaboration across teams and functions. You’ll be the bridge connecting people, processes, and technology to deliver results that empower our employees and keep the Un-carrier spirit thriving. These projects often blend both technology and business solutions, so you’ll partner closely with IT, HR leaders, vendors, and other key partners to keep everyone aligned and energized. Many initiatives are enterprise-wide, multi-year, and full of opportunities to influence how we work and how our people experience HR at T-Mobile.** This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and can be based in Bellevue, WA or Overland Park, KS **
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle—scope, schedule, resources, and delivery—while keeping your team focused and inspired.
- Partner with Technology PMs, Product Managers, and Leadership Teams to ensure both tech and non-tech deliverables are delivered smoothly.
- Use both Agile and Waterfall methods to fit the work, not the other way around.
- Lead meetings, provide clear and consistent status updates, and ensure transparency around project health, risks, and wins.
- Spot risks early, communicate clearly with the right audience, and help leadership make smart decisions quickly.
- Make sure your projects connect directly to HR’s strategic goals, using smart tools and processes to track progress and success.
- Bring teams along on the journey—help them see the “why” behind every initiative and encourage innovation and simplicity in how we deliver.
- Define success metrics, track outcomes, and proactively handle scope, cost, and quality to keep everything on track.
Qualifications:
- 4–7 years of hands-on project management experience using structured methodologies; 2+ years leading HR projects or working in HR operations leadership.
- Shown ability to manage complex, fast-moving projects and balance multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills—able to tailor your message for every audience, from team members to executives.
- A knack for problem-solving and anticipating what’s around the corner.
- Comfort with change and a drive to make things better, faster, and smarter.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint, and Outlook).
- Understanding of basic accounting principles for project budgeting and capitalization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Project Management certification is a plus, but not required—your experience and results speak for themselves.
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
